Can cosmetic surgery really make an individual look unrecognisable? I've been thinking about this recently. already have good bite but want jaw surgery for cosmetic reasons to alter profile? I have a good bite already but I do have a mid-facial protrusion and I would prefer if my maxillary profile were more retrognathic. UK ARMY & COSMETIC SURGERY? OK so I'm currently enlisting in the British Army and I was wondering if anybody knew where they stood on the issue of cosmetic surgery as I can't seem to find anything saying it's ok or not. how old do you have to be to get cosmetic surgery/how much would this cost? I'm 17 and i have the darkest circles under my eyes and a very prominent vein. I've had them for at least 6 years now, and its at the point of people asking me who gave me 2 black eyes. I've tried different diets, vitamins, sleeping patterns - from sleeping 9 hours a night, to 5 hours, even up to 18 hours trying to get rid of them - all for a long period with no change at all. I plan on having cosmetic surgery in a few years - how can I get the face I want? I have a big head but have finally started to understand that this isn't the problem - my face is. I've lost quite a bit of weight since the beginning of this year and my face looks kinda gaunt. I'm wanting to know, with out insurance for the surgeries, how much is it for: 1.) SRS 2.) Facial Feminization Surgery 3.) Tummy tuck? (I'm average for a male, but not for a female) 4.) last but not least, possible breast augmentation I know these prices differ surgeon to surgeon as well as personal experiences, but a generalization would be nice. Cosmetic surgery...? Randomly today i had this memory of me and my friends sitting on a field chilling when these groups of guys came up to us and started talking to us and then randomly one said "you two are hott but your friend isn't" i didn't take it too personally at the time .you know you cant be everyones type! Plus some guys are just like that right?But today i found myself remeberering that memory and running straight into the mirror trying to pin point what exactly is the matter with me.I know im not hott its never bothered me but when your told ur ugly or sumtin ..Ouch lol!Now im not going to go crazy and go and get plastic surgery .But has anyone thought about it?Has anyone had it and benifited from it?Has anyone not benifited from it?Whats your view on it? Question for educated cosmetic surgery patients/surgeons regarding cost? Approximately how much would it cost to have a minor rhinoplasty, an otoplasty with minor reshaping of the tip, and buccal fat removal and/or facial liposuction meaning removing a bit of fat from below the cheek bone down to the jawline. And MAYBE MAYBE POSSIBLY something minor to enhance the lips even though theyre a good size to begin with? (Grafting my own fat or lifting the top lip up mixed with a rhinoplasty if you get what I mean, if possible. I'd also like opinions on how much of it should be done or even CAN be done at once? All cosmetic face work, minor yet specific and well thought out with extensive digital imaging already done with the original to compare. Michael Phelps looks like he had cosmetic surgery.? Is it just me or have Phelps's facial features improved since the last Olympics? I think he had jaw and/or nose plastic surgery, but definitely the his jaw looks improved. I guess he needs to have a presentable face if he wants to get lucrative endorsements. I am pretty sure he had jaw reduction surgery. just compare to photos from 4 years ago. and not asking if he is hot or not. so no stupid answers please. He used to have a really weird face. Has anyone had a facial mole or body tag removed in europe? I'm wanting to have some facial moles and body tags removed privately, and would prefer to go to somewhere reccommended by someone whose had it done, than simply try one of the 100s of cosmetic surgeries who advertise. I'd also like advice from real experience, including cost, and scaring, post-op etc. I'm an EU citizen but live between several countries so don't have a UK GP, so please don't advise me to go via that route as it is not an option.
is cosmetic surgery a bad idea? I am tall, and good looking. in a well paid job, good education. Now, I want to improve my outlook. I have money to spend. I want to go for breast augmentation ( i am only 32B), new stem cell based, which moves tummy fat to bust. and want few more procedures like laser hair removal, and may be facial filler for better skin etc. is it a bad thinking? I have achieved a lot, and now i want to make myself happy by enhancing my looks. Yeh, I got divorced too , and think if I am better looking i can find someone more easily..But, what is wrong with this thinking?

Should people have plastic surgery for (unnecessary) cosmetic reasons only? I watched a tv prog a while ago about women who h8d their looks so badly they were going 2 drastically alter their facial features by havin nosejobs, brow lifts, cheek and chin implants etc, etc. There was 1 particular woman who was so unhappy with the way she looked that she was in bits talking about it on camera, crying her eyes out. The thing is, she's the mother of 2 little girls. One was about 6 yrs old, and was the IMAGE OF HER MUM. She was standin beside her mum, looking totally confused, bewildered and scared as her mother ranted hysterically about how hideous she looked, how much she hated lookin at herself, and how at times she didn't even want to leave the house cos she didn't want people staring at her. Now, the woman was not ugly by any means. She was actually quite nice looking. But after she had the surgery, she looked sooo different. She loved it, loved the way she looked and was so happy... which is great for her, but what about kids who stil resemble genetically?

COSMETIC surgeons help..or does anyone know the answer to this...? i like all of my facial features except my jaw/jowl. I am only twenty one and very thin but I have quite a round face, especially by my lower jaw, and think this is due to the shape of my lower jaw and not excess fat! Is there any such cosmetic surgery that can give you a more chiseled jaw line, so I'd have a thinner face? I've seen nose jobs etc but never this.And if there is such a thing what kind of price would it be ..
Has anyone had this before...? Has anyone had James R. Gordon, M.D. perform a surgery on them if so was it successful (he does eyelid and facial cosmetic/reconstructive surgery)
