How much would an average upper eyelid cosmetic surgery cost for both eyes? I would think it is one of the least expensive cosmetic procedures. I'm a Hispanic girl in my 30's with big eyes. I don't have a crease on my eyelids.
Has anyone out there had upper and lower eyelid cosmetic surgery? If so, tell me about your experience please. The results, any complications and recovery time. Please no rude comments or "dont' do it" comments. Also, I'd prefer to hear from people who've had the surgery or have known a close friend of family member whose had the surgery. Thanks!! I'm 33. Under eye bad are hereditary in my family as well. That's the main reason I want to do it, but am considering getting the uppers done too.

Cosmetic eyelid surgery? I am 54, and I have puffiness under my eyes and loose skin above. I am in Westchester, New York. Does anyone know a good surgery to do that?: What are the risk of this surgery? What is your recommendation?
Eyelid cosmetic surgery over a year ago. Now we see what appears to be white suture protruding from site.? About 1/4 inch. What is it? Doctor's office (who did the work) says by phone, "can't be suture cause they use absorb-able sutures". They suggested we see primary care physician first to confirm that it isn't something else. Primary Care Physician looked at it and said it appears to be a suture, and that we definitely should keep appontment with Plastic surgeon. There has been occasional iritation over the months passed. In preparation for next week's visit with the Plastic surgeon: what questions do we need to be ready with, what should we expect from the Plastic Surgeon, and what would you do under the circumstances described above?
Do anyone know about the Cosmetic Surgery Center below ? I'm planning for eyelid surgery, please help/advice.? Victoria Cosmetic Surgery Center 6156 Richmond Avenue, Houston, Texas 77057-6210 U.S.A
Where can I find a doctor who does upper eyelid surgery? I'm of middle eastern descent, but my eyes kind of seems a little bit chinese/small-it's worse when i'm tired or sick. I'm 20 and was looking for some sort of cosmetic surgery, but 1 doctor told me that i'm too young?!! How can i find a solution & would all doctors give me the same answer? I know i don't need the double eyelid surgery 'cause it's not that bad and i'm not of asian background

can cosmetic surgery and functional surgery be performed at the same time? Basically I had a septoplasty done a couple years ago. Im really pissed and it still enrages me whenever I think about it.... basically its a very rare chance that the surgery does not work. And it didn't work for me. I was bleeding out of my nose for a week straight for nothing. I want to get it done again but I also want a blepharoplasty (its a cosmetic eyelid surgery). They are both on my face so do you think I have any chance of getting them done at the same time?

Do the majority of Korean women have had at least one sort of cosmetic surgery? My friend told me that 80% of Korean women (especially teenage to college aged girls) have had at least some minor cosmetic surgery, the majority of them opt to take the double eyelid procedure which makes girls have double eyelids as a large portion of Asian women have only single eyelids. Lip and cheek procedures are also not uncommon. Is this true?
eyelid surgery ? quick question!? hi just wondering i know you can get eyelid surgery to get rid of bags under the eye. but i dont have bags, but i do have one eyelid that drops down lower than my other eye. so my question is. can you get cosmetic surgery to actually cut the eyelid, to open it up more so its more semitic?
How much does it cost for a plastic surgery in Korea? I'm talking about eyelid surgery, or if possible facelift or other cosmetic surgeries if anyone's got the info to it. How much does it cost in Korea? Or if there's any good one in Australia (any states, especially in the ACT) ?

Concerning eyelid surgery? I have puffiness under my eyes and somewhat loose skin above. I have reasearched eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), but the examples they show are not giving me that good of an idea what to expect. I am only 35, and many if not most of the pictures are of 60+ year olds. Also, I want to go to a good surgeon. Does anybody have experience with this? I live Nebraska, which isn't exactly a cosmetic surgery hot spot. I'm willing to travel, but it would be nice if I could drive.

Reverse asian-eyelid surgery? Has anyone ever heard of a cosmetic surgery to make someone appear asian? just curious, because i heard about asian-eyelid surgery to appear caucasian and wanted to know if someone has had it done the opposite way. please don;t call me racist i was just curious thanks :D XD
Any asians wanting to get ethnic cosmetic surgery? By asians, I really mean Orientals; and by ethnic cosmetic surgery, alterations on features found in non-caucasians to diminish the ethnical look. My parents have said I should be ashamed of myself; but they have given up. I am an asian man, and I want to be attractive and date white women. I feel my ethnical look has dragged me down all my life, I want to look like the hawt guy in a nightclub, not an ethnic mongoloid in the National Geographic for the sake of exoticness. Of course, I'm having some dental work done now and am bodybuilding in the gym et cetera, it's not as if I'm an imbecile. But I am going to reduce my ethnic features by having double eyelid surgery, epicanthoplasty and zygoma (cheekbones) reduction. The asian face is not as attractive as the white face typically because of either small monolid eyes, sunken nosebridge with flattened tip, too wide and big cheekbones which widens the face and disrupts an oval shape or overly strong jawline (mandible) which makes the face look meaty and disrupts the chin. And at worst, all of these traits together in one face. All attractive asian celebrities I've seen have had the works done. What do you think?
eye surgery besides double eyelid? i was wondering what other cosmetic eye surgeries are there besides double eyelid. what other surgery enhances your eye shape? are there any that will remove excess skin and make it bigger that way than double eyelid surgery ? wut is it called? thankz
cosmetic surgery in guangzhou? i want to make a cosmetic surgery(nose job & eyelid) in guangzhou..which the best hospital/clinic? and who d best doctor?

Are there any "risks" that I need to be concerned about when getting double eyelid surgery? I'm getting full-incisional double eyelid surgery next month in Korea and I was wondering if there are any certain risks or dangers of doing this surgery. Like any type of risk or complication that can occur to the body??? I've never gotten cosmetic surgeries of any kind before and this is my first one on my eyes. Is there any risks i need to be concerned about ? Or can I go into this surgery worryfree??? I'm not concerned about the pain, or any of that, just whether or not this is SAFE to do or not. I know tons of people who got it done and they all say it's relatively painless and an easy surgery, not risky at all. I would just like some feedback so I can be sure of this ^^ THANKS
Taxing elective cosmetic surgery to help fund health care? "Senate Democrats are proposing a 5% excise tax on elective cosmetic procedures... that includes things like Botox injections, breast implants, tummy tucks, face lifts, liposuction, teeth whitening, eyelid repairs, etc." I can not believe democrats actually think this is a great idea. What do think? Do you think it is ok to tax people who do this, just because they have the extra money to have procedures done?
Where would be a good place to get double eyelid surgery in Toronto, Ontario? My whole family has deep crease, but somehow I did not inherit that. My right eye has a fold, but not very strong, and my left crease disappeared when I hit 11. Now 21, and I am thinking about doing something about. I searched and found a North York doctor and the TCC cosmetic clinic. Does anyone know any place that's good in Toronto? I am kind of reluctant to go to China/Hong Kong for it because I don't live there.
Does health insurance cover cosmetic surgeries? Do "molina, med coupon dshs" cover plastic/cosmetic surgeries (eyelid surgery)?
possible cosmetic surgery for my eye lid lift? Age eleven I had a burn to my eye which left me with a droopy eyelid. The eye was damaged but I'd like to know if surgery is possible to improve the cosmectic look, things must have moved on from the fifties.
double eyelid surgery? does this cosmetic surgery leaves a mark or scar and is it visible enough to tell that you did that surgery before?
Why Asian’s actor/actress get plastic surgery done and promoting cosmetic surgery to the public? Is it bad to have cosmetic? I mean most people in in the world had or have cosmetic surgery done to their face, such as double eyelids, breast augmentation, rhinoplasty, and etc. I just don’t understand why people want to get plastic surgery to be “beautiful.” I don’t know why my Asian friends want to get double eyelids surgery done, because they think having bigger eyes is consider beautiful. I myself am Asian, and I don’t want to get plastic surgery, because I personally like almond eyes, they’re beautiful; it makes them look mysterious and sophisticate. Anyway, cosmetic surgeries are widely popular in Korea, Japan, and China. I don’t know what they are trying to change their looks to appear more westernize, which I think promoting the public to get plastic surgery. I mean, why get plastic surgery to make you look “beautiful, when you’re already beautiful? Also, getting plastic surgery done with double eyelids, rhinoplasty will not make your future kids have the double eyes, and a narrow nose. Also having braces, does that mean I have cosmetic surgery done to my teeth? I hope not.
how to treat a scar on my eyelid after a chalazion surgery? Three weeks ago I had a chalazion removal surgery from my right eyelid. Unfortunately, the doctor did an external cut, leaving a very visible scar. It looks red and very unhealthy. If it doesn't go away, what kind of cosmetic treatment should I go for in order to diminish the scar? Laser? Creams? I am planing to visit a dermatologist but I thought it was a good idea to ask the forum. Thank you very much.
Price of cosmetic Surgery in Japan? is it expensive? I'm talking about double eyelid surgeries. I want to fix my messed up eyelids in the summer and I plan to go to Japan for them, can anyone help? I will choose the best answer
Would you trust going through blepharoplastic surgery? Its a cosmetic surgery on the eyes.? To elaborate, blepharoplasty is a procedure to reshape the outlines of the eye, whether its the upper or lower eyelid. Many ppl have been through cosmetic surgery, and knowing the risks that are involved with it, I'm wondering how others might feel if they were to go through blepharoplasty. I'm thinking of doing it, but knowing that its involving my eyes, I'm not too sure if I should really trust this kind of procedure. How safe is it? And please, no answers like "It shouldn't matter how u look on the outside, its how u feel on the inside" nothing like that please. Thanks
Is it true that the majority of koreans have had cosmetic surgery before? Even as young as 10? A friend of mine told me that for a teenage korean girl, she may receive money to get plastic surgery for her birthday. She said its common. None of us are korean. We're chinese/vietnamese. I noticed that whenever i watch a korean drama and i search them up on the net, it always says they've had a nosejob, eyelid surgery, or whatever. Not once have I found a korean actress with a tall nose and large, double-eyelids not have plastic surgery. What do you think of this? I know plastic surgery occurs in other countries but it seems soo normal to get plastic surgery in korea. They seem so obsessed with their facial features and are badly influenced by their own society. Kids even kid these surgery (I heard from this person who visited korea) I'm only 16 and I find think its kind sick that girls my age or younger would have had at least one plastic surgery already in korea. Not that I would.. i was born with natural large eyes for an asian..i didnt realised i was blessed until recently. I'M NOT SAYING ALL, but the MAJORITY.
When it comes to cosmetic surgery, why are African Americans frowned upon? I have Asian friends who have had eyelid surgery, yet I see no one bother them or claim that they "want to be white." Conversely, if one of my African American friends even alludes to the desire to have plastic surgery on their noses, people get angry and claim that they "want to be white" and are "obliterating an ethnic feature." Can anyone help me understand the hypocrisy? @Straight-I'm half African American and half American Indian. @Scholar-It's because they think their noses look as if they've been smashed (ya know, because of the wideness).
Should I get cosmetic surgery during winter break? My winter break is 2 weeks long and I plan on getting an eyelid surgery, chin augmentation, and nose reshaping done. I know it sounds like a lot of procedures but all of them are very simple in my case (i'm not going for drastic changes in any one of those). Some information I found on the surgeon's site says that the chin takes 1 week to most of the bruising and swelling to go away; the nose takes 2-4 weeks depending on the kind of procedure; and the eyes can take up to several weeks depending on the severity of the procedure. I don't expect to be perfectly normal by the time i go back to school and don't mind being a little swollen. Does anybody have experience and advice? Keep in mind that my procedures will be very minor and minimal cutting, breaking, etc. I'd appreciate any advice Just another note: I'm 20 years old and I'm doing this for myself not for a boyfriend or anything. I considered this when I was 18 but decided to wait until I was 20 to see if I still wanted it. The reason I wanted to do it winter break is because summers are just too busy for me (biochem majors with full time summer quarter). So please no comments on how old I am and "don't get plastic surgery" Thanks again
To those one who had facial cosmetic plastic surgery. How long did it take for the recovery? It includes face lift, eyelid lift, brow lift and neck left. How fast and slow the recovery might be? Could you tell me about the details and your experinces.
What are your views on cosmetic surgery? I'm thinking of cutting my eyelids , I have monolids. And pushing in my ear a lil. Bcuz they stick out. My boyfriend says their beautiful though. They make me special. But I hate my ears and small eyes a lot. A LOT. What do you guys think?
How can I become a certified cosmetic laser technician? I am interested in becoming a cosmetic laser technician. You know those people who do laser hair removal, and double eyelid surgery. I want the best education possible. Does anyone know how long it takes to get certified and how much the usually make? Plus locations where I can go to school for it. Anyone who is currently working in the profession please give more details. Thank You.
A good cosmetic doctor in VietNam right now? Please help. I want to know who is a good cosmetic doctor in VietNam right now for Eyelid surgery. I know Dr. Nguyen Xuan Cuong was great back in the days, but is he still good? Or there is someone better now? Thanks a million.
Cosmetic surgery for undereye circles? My undereye circles have been pronounced since I lost my toddler baby fat around age 5. I've been covering them with heavy concealer since my preteens. I've been asked so many times if I have mascara smudged on my face, or if someone punched me in both eyes, etc. It's terrible. I'm 27 now and I've had it with these things. See attached pictures. http://i52.tinypic.com/27y4ugi.jpg http://i56.tinypic.com/2zybczd.jpg http://i51.tinypic.com/24glpqv.jpg http://i55.tinypic.com/2vl5mde.jpg http://i54.tinypic.com/2qjywr8.jpg The thing is it's not a pigmentation issue, as I'm pale and never go out in sunlight. It's not a vitamin, sleep or blood vessel issue either. Again, whole life. There are no bags under my eyes either. It's just a dark hollow. I looked on a site that deals with cosmetic eye surgery and it told me to touch the dark area and if I feel fat or eyeball, it's the eyelid that's the problem, and if it's bone I feel, the rim of the cheekbone under the eyelid is the problem. Well, it's definitely the second thing. Definitely bone. Apparently this would call for an intraorbital rim implant and tear trough implant. Basically the whole undereye area has a dark hollow running in a semicircle under it starting in the inside corner of my eyes. I have a few questions. Am I right in guessing this is what the surgeon would suggest? What are the implants made of? Where is the incision made? What's the healing process like? Should I expect any complications or side effects immediately or down the line? And how much would this all cost? Any other pertinent information would be much appreciated. Thanks!
ONLY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE HAD: Asian Blepharoplasty / Double Eyelid Surgery Before...? I've been reading a lot of responses to this topic on Asian Blepharoplasty / double eyelid surgery and I would appreciate answers only from people who've had this procedure done before because I've noticed people who have never had it done before or who do not condone it, have a tendency to say, "Don't do it," or "You look great just the way you are." So here's my story: My mom naturally has double eyelids, but my father does not so I ended up being born with one eye with and one eye without (trust me I looked a little funny before). So I had this procedure done about 10 years ago when I was about 18 years old and after a few months of healing, the results were amazing. People kept complimenting me and telling me how great I looked and my eyes were so sparkly and pretty when I smile. I didn't regret having the surgery at all because my doctor (who is a female) sounded like she knew what she was doing (and someone recommended her to me). And not only were my eyes even now, but they looked better than before and I felt very confident about the overall results! NOW FAST FORWARD 10 YEARS LATER..... My eyes do not look the same anymore. I mean they look normal still, but when you are 28 going on 30 any day now, your eyes - as well as your entire face / body - start to change. My eyes have always been naturally deeper than most Asian women's - and that's one of my lucky features to be born with - but the problem is, now that I am getting older, they have deepened even more, causing my double eyelid crease to somewhat disappear on my right eye. And get this, when I wake-up in the morning (after sleeping for 8 hours), they look normal, but as the hours pass throughout the day, they get deeper and the crease, again, almost disappears. Also, my eyelids seem to be drier than before. As for my left eyelid, it has not disappeared - yet - but there is some drooping starting to appear. So my question is, does anyone out there, who has had this procedure done before, also suffer from these similar results years later? And if so, what have you done to fix it? Do you just live with these results for the rest of your life? Or have you decided to go back and get it done again, but this time, have a different procedure done to improve the lackluster appearance. I have already spoken to one cosmetic surgeon and he said it was not that bad, but if I wanted to get it done, it would be up to me. He even suggested I take some fat out of my belly button and add it to my eyelids so it will not be that dry. I have also made other appointments to see other surgeons and get their opinions on this matter as well. I am seriously thinking about getting this surgery done again, so my right eyelid will return back to it's first surgery appearance or perhaps even better. I'm not really mad at my first doctor, but I think she could have done a better job the first time around. My confidence at the moment is not very high because of this and I wish this wouldn't bother me, but it just does. Thanks for the advice and good luck to the best answer!
Is it possible to do two surgeries within a month? I'm not talking about doing the same surgery again but someone I know wants to have rhinoplasy and cosmetic surgery for her eyelids. Is it okay to do one after the other is completed? Or how long does she have to wait to have the rhinoplasy after the eyelids surgery is done?
I'm considering double eyelid surgery. Opinions? Thoughts? I am a 16 year old Korean girl and I'm considering getting double eyelid surgery for aesthetic reasons but I'm still very reluctant to go for it. Mainly it's the fact that there's no going back and the change in permanent. My mother is on board, all that is left is to make the decision. If anyone has any thoughts/opinions on this that would be great :) Also if anyone knows of any well known cosmetic surgeons who specialize in this type of thing, that would also be appreciated. Below is a picture of me,let me know if you think it would suit me: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=429559321922&set=a.437387026922.228495.633511922 http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=470178671922&set=a.470176811922.258210.633511922&pid=6194307&id=633511922 (I am on the right)
Eye Slanting Surgery? I've read a lot of Italian women get their eyes "slanted" by cosmetic surgery like a lot of Asians get the double eyelid surgery. What's the name of this surgery and where are some before and after photos? Where can it be performed in the USA? How much does it cost? Please post info. Thanks.
cosmetic surgery for lazy eye? i was in a car accident and had a severe brain injury in result crushed almost all my optic nerves and muscles in my left eye and i am legally blind in the process.my eyelid is almost shut and my eyeball hangs to the corner to my eye because lack of muscles in the eye,any suggestions on what kind of surgery that can help cosmetically, thanks.
cosmetic surgery or not? I have been considering cosmetic surgery but would prefer not to if other options were available. I have fat pads just above my cheek bones but not below my eyelids(eye bags). I always look like I just got out of a boxing match. I just want them to get rid of them because they don't look pretty. Do I need surgery and if so what kind and how much would I be looking at paying? If I don't what options do I have?
Any advice on eye surgery after Thyroid Eye Disease? I don't think I necessarily need orbital decompression but could have the choice of eyelid surgery and removal of fatty tissue above the eyes. I know I'll get good advice from the surgeons but anyone who has had it done, for medical or purely cosmetic reasons, got any views on this?
Plastic surgery - eyes? I have puffiness under my eyes and somewhat loose skin above. I have reasearched eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), but the examples they show are not giving me that good of an idea what to expect. I am only 35, and many if not most of the pictures are of 60+ year olds. Also, I want to go to a good surgeon. Does anybody have experience with this? I live Nebraska, which isn't exactly a cosmetic surgery hot spot. I'm willing to travel, but it would be nice if I could drive. Sure, we all have problems. If they can be corrected an make us life a happier life, then why not do it? The first three answers make no sense.
COSMETIC SURGERY-has anyone on here had their lower eyelids done or lipo on their tummy? im thinking of both if anyone can let me know of a good clinic id be grateful or have u had this done? please no websites please
What do you think about Asian people getting "Double EyeLid Surgery" to look Western? Is this normal? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double_eyelid_surgery Lots of Asian people don't like their "Asian" eyelids...so they get this surgery done where it gives them a "double" eyelid...like white/Western people have?! What do you think about this cosmetic procedure??! Should it be banned?! What is the point of it apart from making Asian people feel bad about their genetics?!? Also, it is a form of "Blackface"...except it's "Whiteface"!! Asian people trying to look white! Isn't it racist?!
Cosmetic Surgery at the age of 15.? No, i'm not getting cosmetic surgery at this time in my life. But yes, i'm 15, and yes I want cosmetic surgery. I want it done after I graduate highschool, so that will be 18-19 years of age. Is that so wrong of me to already want plastic surgery at this young of age? I feel really guilty changing the way my face looks, the face that God gave me. But, I really want to do it. I know, i'm stilling growing, and my features will change throughout the years, that is part of the reason why I am holding back. I am planning to remove some skin from my double eyelids, so it can enhance the look of my eyebrow bone. I am also looking for a nose job (not that much change too it, just more bone structure, and a more pointy and more bone, at the tip of my nose). I also want orthognathic surgery, which is surgery that adjusts your jaw. My jaw is very rounded and small. I would like to make it a square jaw, and align it with my nose, and extend it longer. How much would these surgeries cost anyways? Please don't leave comments like "accept yourself", "your too young" "nose jobs are too obvious", "it can go wrong" i've decided to have these surgeries, and I will not change my mind. I am determined to fufill my dream look diamonds - Wow, thank you for that. I had no idea. I thought it was just low-self esteem and what i've gone through in the past. Well, I guess that has something to do with it as well. It's just a bit confusing. I'm glad it's not me, and it's the disorder. I find it very painful, and I wish I was never this picky about my appreance. Sexy Vampiress - Thanks! I totally agree. I can careless if people think my face is fine, or perfect. Because, it's me that don't think it's fine or perfect, and i'm the one who will have to live with it till I die. Thanks! ★ℓeena; ℓσve. - It's actually not a double eyelid surgery I want. I have a double eyelid. I just want to remove the extra skin off my lid. As for the jaw, I don't think they necessarily have to reposition my jaw. I just wish my chin was more squared, long, and more masculine kind of look. It doesn't allign with my nose, or my lip.
Will it hurt if I undergo cosmetic surgery on my eyes? I already have double eyelids, I just want them BIGGER. Like Ayumi Hamasaki. Please don't tell me that my eyes are fine the way they are, I just have the money for it. It's something that I want, and is extremely common in some parts of Asia. Thanks<3
Have you any cosmetic surgery? What did you do? I am considering? getting blepahorplasy (eyelid) surgey, because I always look tired!
Surgery for eyelid ptosis!? PLEASE HELP!? Okay so I have ptosis, which is where an eyelid is kinda droopy, I absoloutely hate it! I've had it since I was born, it's mild, but it still bugs me so much to look at picture of myself or in the mirror. I am considering surgery? I'm still young , I'm 15, but I really want it. I was wondering if it is considered cosmetic? Or would it be covered by insurance for some kind of medical surgery? Roughly how much would it cost?
Is there some tye of cosmetic thing that can make you look asian? Like for example the eyelid tape asians sometimes use to get a double eyelid. I've heard of that eyelid tape and double eyelid surgery but is there anything that gets the opposite affect? Ha ha I'm just a sad "wapenese" person I suppose. But for halloween I wanted to be a japanese maid, so...
Would you ever go for plastic surgery? Imagine. You are not content with your looks. Your cheekbones are too low, your nose is slanted to one side, you have single eyelids, and a multitude of problems which makes you the fashion victim of society. Would you ever be willing to go for cosmetic surgery to artificially reconstruct your face? I wouldn't. Not after I read about it on Wikipedia.
has anyone out there had cosmetic surgery on eye area? My upper eyelids are suddenly drooping and affecting (not only my appearance) my eyesight
Is there a country were women dn't get influenced by media about their self image? In America lots of women get cosmetic plastic surgery: breast, etc In japan and china too: Double eyelid surgery, etc. In Thailand too: And so on Is there any country were they don't have such a tendency to do that?
I'm 19 and thinking about cosmetic surgery? I'm not overly upset with myself, I'm just curious as to what could be done and what I would look like. When I smile I get bags/wrinkles under my eyes. I think it's due to excess skin. Also I'd want the excess skin on my eyelids gone. But I'd be hell scared of getting surgery on/around my eyes. Also a smaller, more Japanese looking nose. Here's a pic.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v245/yunababe/japantrip023.jpg Any doctors online, what do you think? Too young? Nothing can be done and it's just a uniqueness of myself? Thanks. Oh, and I'm constantly using moisturisers for under my eye to try to help alleviate the puffyness/bags, but nothing works. I've got some avon stuff with peptides in it and lifting creams but they're not working :( Also try massaging.
cosmetic surgery in Japan HELPP!? I'm Chinese Canadian and my single eyelids are really loose and messed up...its a long story so I wont talk about it. Since I'm travelling to Japan for vacation this summer, I want to find a surgeon there that can help me and maybe get rid of the loose skin and make them double. How much will it cost around? I really need to know and where is the best place to go?
If a person has one eye smaller than the other, and/or a different shape, what cosmetic treatments can be done ..to improve the appearance? Will a clear Scleral shell help? or eyelid surgery? The difference is not massive, but noticeable thanks.
Does Lasik surgery hurt? How long does it last? Is it effective? yowch... i saw a makeover show on tv and i think the doctor peeled this layer with a tweezer or something from someone's eye after putting lazer through it. I'm gonna have to do it when I get older (i'm 18) and i'm already scared.. how much does it hurt? What does it FEEL like, and how LONG does it last? Can you see really well after the surgery? Were you afraid before you did it? If you're gonna say 'depends on the person', well, I've done a cosmetic surgery on my eyelids (after whimpering and chickening out in the surgery room) and i've pierced my ears after chickening out many times.
cosmetic facial surgery? my wife had a facelift (upper blasfemy?) & eyelift yesterday...her eyelids are stitched & she has stitches to the front of each ear & stiches to the rear...has anyone had this done & how long was the recovery...can you apply anything to reduce bruises & swelling
What cosmetic and natural products can I use to lift the skin around my eyes? The skin above the eyelids is starting to sag. I do not want plastic surgery but are there any natural products or cosmetic creams that can slow the process and what substances can I use to eliminate the pigmentation and also the small capillaries on my face?
Is $10,000 a reasonable cost for eyelid surgery? it seems like a lot. the surgery is a blepharoplasty for cosmetic reasons (asian double eyelid surgery). it takes 45 mins. is 10k reasonable or should i consult with another plastic surgeon?
Does anybody know of a good website that will show me the best way to apply eyeshadow to deep set eyes? I have trouble wearing eyeshadow, because I have too much skin on the upper part of my eyelid and it covers most of my lower lid. Very frustrating! I know all about cosmetic surgery,to fix this problem. I just can't afford that right now. Any temporary solutions would be greatly appreciated!
Can an eye being smaller than the other be made even at an opticians? It's not that noticable, but it needs sorting, it's been like that for quite a while. The upper eyelid just seems to go down more than the other one making my whole eye appear smaller in comparison. Could I get this problem fixed at an opticians, or would I have to go to a cosmetic surgery?
cosmetic surgery? on average ROUGHLY how much does an upper eyelid reduction cost?
Eye surgeon or a Plastic/cosmetic surgeon? I have an eyelid ptosis problem and i was advised eyelid ptosis surgery. can any one tell me who will conduct this surgery an eye surgeon or a plastic/cosmetic surgeon.
What do you think of Paris Hilton's plastic surgery? From:http://www.imdb.com/news/wenn/2007-01-22/#3 Has Hilton Damaged Her Eyelids? Hotel heiress Paris Hilton reportedly visited a plastic surgeon in Los Angeles earlier this week in a bid to fix her 'drooping' left eyelid. The 25-year-old was allegedly left with muscle damage in her left eye after a botched eyelid lift operation six years ago, and the damage has reportedly been worsened by her fondness for wearing blue-tinted contact lenses over her naturally brown eyes. A source tells PageSix.com, "(Her eyes) have been drying out lately. She is ignoring doctors' orders to not wear her tinted contacts." However, Hilton's representative Elliot Mintz denies the rumors, insisting, "To the best of my knowledge, Paris has never had any kind of cosmetic surgery and has not mentioned any medical procedures having to do with her eyes."
How do I get rid of a wrinkled fold upper eyelid? A few years back, I used to get a wrinkled fold upper eyelid on one eye, and it has always been the same eye. It usually goes away after a few days or so. But I'm having the same problem for about 10 months now, so I've suffered with one wrinkled fold upper eyelid for quite some time. I've been wondering why it hasn't disappeared or how do I get rid of it without cosmetic surgery. Lastly, the one eye rather looks quite odd as, the wrinkled fold eyelid makes the one eye bigger than the normal eye. Please help!
Uneven eyelid help? I was born with uneven eyelids, and it's a problem for me when I try to apply eyeliner to the top lid or use eyeshadow. One of my eyelids has an asianatic look, while the other one is just fine. Usually I just raise my eyebrows up, or half-close my eyes, but that gets irritating. I want to fix it, but I don't want to have surgery. I'm not a big fan of cosmetic surgery. And please don't lecture me about how it's 'what's on the inside that counts', because I'm a freelance model, and it's important to me. And also, don't try to tell me that I'm lying, because I have proof. I simply detest it when people do that. Thank you!
single lids and smaller noses in Asian women - what do you think about them? we hear many asian women going for cosmetic surgery to augment their eyes (to make double eyelids) and increase the length of their noses... i think its sad, because those asian features can be very pretty. what do you think?
Do you think its bad that a mother got plastic surgery to look like her daughter? You know when I first saw the title and read this my first instict was "gross!" But now that it's settled for a bit I actually don't think it's that bad she had a boob job (well before the new work), and then got her eyes and nose done (which in today's times isn't much) oh oops and her lips plumped. My mom has got her breasts done, and her eyes because she is a performer (classical violinist), and was single so she wanted to make herself feel better (mind you she didn't get DD's she has full B's and her eyelids were drooping giving her migraines and Kaiser offered to do it for free for the medical reasons). So overall I think the only weird part is that she looks like her daughter... Although people get cosmetic surgery all the time and ask their doctors to make them look like a certain celebrity and people don't think that's weird. This mother looks great for her age! And even though the before picture of her doesn't make her look to great if any of you know people who have gotten plastic surgery (atleast those procedures) you know that to look as good as she does now she must have looked decent before. On a side note, kudos to her for loosing her weight the right way (through diet and exercise) versus getting it all suctioned out! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1170348/The-50-year-old-mother-spent-10-000-surgery-look-like-daughter.html
What do you think about Asians getting unnatural double eyelids? Some of my asian friends were born with double eyelids (with a crease/fold in the eyelids) and I have some that weren't and they use the double eyelid glue and tape to make the crease. What do you think about it? Do you think using the glue and tape is bad? I also know that the rate of cosmetic surgery done on eyelids is really high over in Asia.. To Ori-Hime: Why do you find this offensive? Did you not read the details? Half of my friends have natural double eye lids.. I wasn't offending anyone and I'm Asian (Korean), so.. and it's a TRUE FACT.
Can someone tell me the best eyeliner to use if you have droopy eyelids? Or, any makeup tricks? When I apply Revlon Colorstay (the best I've found so far), I have a "double" line of eyeliner by lunchtime-- the droopy eyelids make a line shaped like a rainbow on my eyelid. Help!! I can't afford cosmetic eye surgery! lol
Has anyone had this before...? Has anyone had James R. Gordon, M.D. perform a surgery on them if so was it successful (he does eyelid and facial cosmetic/reconstructive surgery)
Stork Bites and Angel Kisses on my Baby? I had my baby girl on March 29, she was born with some significant marks on her face called Stork bites or Angel Kisses. They are on her forhead, eyelids, nose, and upper lip. I was very upset and concerned about them since they were pretty red. The doctors and nurses kept telling me they are normal and common and will fade with time. Though other people have said they might stay and she will need cosmetic surgery. Does anyone have kids that had these and how long generally did it take for them to go away. Did anyone have to have cosmetic surgery for them?
What makes me ethnic? I'm Asian, but I was wondering... If I got surgery and made my eyelids non-Asian in appearance, or got rid of some other ethinic traits, have I technically removed my Asianness? A faq on a surgery website asked this question: "Can cosmetic surgery change ethnicity?" making it sound like ethnicity is just a few things. (I want to know this because I'm tired of being Asian. It's not just the fact that people don't like 'em, but I've also managed to look at myself from a 3rd-person vantage, and I don't like me!)
Hiding marks on my eyes? I have an auto immune liver disease, which has left me with cholesterol like deposits on my upper eyelid. The look like I have forgotten to rub the make up in. Any idea how I can hide them/disguise them? I asked about getting them removed, to be told it was classed as cosmetic surgery!! BTW if age makes a difference, I am 50+ I live in the uk. No insurance companies involved. For those suggesting glasses (tinted or otherwise) - - no thanx. I wear glasses for close work anyway. I was really looking for tips on camouflaging.
