I found my boyfriends' old myspace page...from his old photos...I think he had plastic surgery!? It's not drastic, but it's weird...I've been dating him for a while and just decided to look up his Chinese name up on myspace...and found a kid who looks like him...but...he is wearing glasses and has single eyelids. Okay, first off...my boyfriend knows I love men with glasses and I asked him before if he ever wore glasses (his sister does) and he said, "no." He is wearing glasses in all of these photos... I also always thought it was interesting that he was "born" with double eyelids like he SAID and was jealous that his had a thin darker line where the eyelid folds (when he closes his eyes you can see it) which is adorable. If he felt uncomfortable about the eyelids, I understand...but why didn't he even mention that he used to wear eyeglasses (which are in every pic on his myspace!) I love my boyfriend...but I found the above out on my own tonight and just recently he "admitted" to having been a chess and street fighter champion. He even told me that his ex lived near us in Cali...and today was like, "she lives in Texas!" and he told me before that her major was art but is now claiming psychology to be her major. I know he's not cheating because we see each other all the time, I know his friends and family, and we are moving in together next year. How should I confront my boyfriend about this? What do you think the popularity of plastic surgery says about our culture? Specifically, regarding the aesthetics of it. I think people who've had it are scary looking. On "The Insider" tonite, did you see the computerized "aged" photo of MJ without plastic surgery? They did this computer adjusted photo of Michael using photos of how he looked before the plastic surgery showing how he possibly would've looked at age 50, had he not had skin bleaching and plastic surgery. Had sleeked combed back short hair. And he had great bone structure in this photo. Looked a lot like Billy dee Williams, and a little like Jermaine, but much better. Very handsome. I knew his skin lightening wasn't done for the reason of lightening his skin, but I was still thinking that he had some kind of medical treatments to even out his skin tone because of the problem. The only websites I see is advertisements, websites completely against plastic surgery, and these reality plastic surgery shows. I am just looking for a website or any resource that has realistic photos, testimonies, medical advice, side effects, and what to expect before and after on these procedures. Or if anyone has had buttocks augmentation or any plastic surgery if they enjoy the results or wish they would have never had it. It bother's me that so many persian women have plastic surgery, what do you think guys? They say persian women are some of the most beautiful women in the world and I agree with this very much so. Plastic surgery...a moral issue? I lament over my profile every time I see photo of it. I have what someone might call a weak chin...it's small. I also have a high forehead. It might not be very noticeable to others, but I keep dissecting my looks and considering plastic surgery to ''fix'' my face by getting a small chin implant. I have seen 3 plastic surgeons in consultation over the last 3 years. All agreed, of course, that a chin implant would help me look more proportional. The procedure would cost about $3,000. A deeper part of me continues to ask myself why I would pay so much money to have someone cut me open and place a foreign object in my face. When I mention the issue to my boyfriend and family members I get the same response, "Your face is fine! You're pretty the way you are!" Inside I think "I want a stronger chin! I want to feel pretty!" But would I truly feel better after having the implant? Or just another superficial person. Shouldnt I be more worried about the genocide in Darfur?

How much does plastic surgery cost? I suppose I should begin by saying that I don't consider myself ugly. I find that self abuse over an apperance that I can't change is both detremental and ultimatly, pointless. My Problem? I have a double chin, but at 5'11", and 176 lbs, a normal body weight.What I don't like is that my jaw line and neck are completly concealed by a layer of cortisol, which is to say, if one could more or less draw a straight line from my chin down to my, er, end of neck and beggining of torso, that would be more or less my side profile. This has bothered me for some time. Than, and, nose down I have soft facial features, but a strong brow line. Anyway, I would like plastic surgery to remove this flaw. Has anyone ever lost more than 70 pounds and NOT needed plastic surgery? I'm speaking of modern day...where people can have a body lift if their remaining abdomen is hanging down to their knees.
