Percent of Plastic Surgery Gone Wrong? I need to know the percentage of plastic surgery (U.S.) that goes wrong, by May 10, 2009. No website gives me the percentage, only really disturbing pictures of people and their botox face. Can someone please help me find the percentage?

Plastic Surgery gone WRONG - Any chance of free repair? In September of 2008, I underwent a Rhinoplasty (nose job) at a well known clinic in Wellesley, MA. I paid a pretty hefty price (Over $7,000) to have the bone shaved down on the bridge, removing a pretty large bump. My nose on both sides near the cheeks so the nose could be pushed together in the middle, making the bridge appear the correct "new" size. To much the smaller bridge, the doctor was supposed to removed cartilage at the TIP of my nose and reshape it as it had been round and slightly bulbous even prior to the surgery. Fast forward nearly 2 years now, I have been left with a very bulbous tip. Not only did he seem to fail to reshape the "roundness" in the tip of the nose, there are these 2 small "horns" protruding from the tip. This gives the appearance of the nip of my nose rising up like a ramp. These bumps are very hard and while fairly small, ruin the entire appearance of my nose. They seem to be a good amount of scar tissue lumped together at the tip of my nose. Do I really have any way here to "complain" and hope this doctor will consider fixing it for free or at reduced cost? He is well known and I am not willing to say he is a quack, but I essentially paid for my nose to look 5x worse than it did prior to the surgery. I was very diligent in taking care of it, and now I am left with these rocks at the tip of my nose... when it was supposed to be shaped correctly, not mutilated. Do I have any grounds for ANYTHING here? Few spelling mistakes, I was in a rush. I meant to say the bone was broken on both sides of my cheeks so the nose could be met together at it's new size.

Is plastic surgery wrong according to Christian standards? I have thought about getting a breast reduction, but feel guilty for wanting to change my body that God gave me. By anyone's standards my breasts are very large and very heavy. So, it it really isn't about me being vain or having irrational ideas about my body. Should I go through with it and what do you think God would say about it. To be honest, I have no physical pain associated with my breast. They just prevent me from wearing a lot of the latest fashion, make me self conscious (men and women often stare), and they look unattractive to me. Do you think plastic surgery is wrong? I mean, if it was for a medical reason, then it would be totally reasonable. I think it could go both ways. If you were really unhappy with an imperfection, and you wanted to fix it, and when it's fixed, you are more confident and happy. BUT, it is also good to embrace your imperfections and accept them. It would be changing what your parents gave you. Also, It could come out awful, and obvious. I think it should be used to make something look more pretty, and natural. Excess plastic surgery facts/thoughts? I'm writing a paper about how doctors should have some kind of law (besides the hypocratic oath) that they should abide by with as far as plastic surgery. They should turn away patients if they are overdoing plastic surgery for cosmetic reasons. I was also playing around with the idea that some of the patients should be referred to a psychiatrist if their problems are serious. Do you have any opinions on this? Any links to factual data? PS. I think limited and reasonable plastic surgery is fine, and ultimately it is up to the patient to make their own decision but the doctors should have the wisdom to turn patients away or have them go to a psychiatrist. I took my regular ace inhibitor and ate strawberries my face and lips swelled up. Which am I allergic to? Would it be wrong of me to find a girl who's beauty is flawed, with plans to fix her through plastic surgery? I've gone out with plenty of good looking girls in the past, but I find that most of them want to be pampered, don't want to work, expect you to be the one who drives or has a car, and so on. Maybe they've been conditioned to think this way because they've nearly always been treated better then average, but I'm sick and tired of it, and I'd prefer someone who works just as hard as I do, and who drives, since I can no longer legally do so. I've finally come up with the perfect plan. Find a girl who is good looking, but maybe has one or more flaws eg: bad nose, double chin, large ears... whatever the problem, something that a couple thousand dollars of plastic surgery at most could fix. I've got several thousand dollars saved up for something fun (I was going to get an ATV or something like that). What if I found a flawed girl who worked and drove, got her to fall in love with me, then told her that she was getting plastic surgery, and I was paying. Would I be wrong in doing so? I don't mind finding someone for love, but would it be wrong of me not to tell them that I plan on making sure they're good looking to. I find that a lot of girls with less attractive faces or teeth, are the ones with the best personalities, and are "real people". All I'm doing is making the package as good as what's inside of it. To clarify things, it's not that I don't mind a few flaws... BUT, I like to have the best of everything. When I drove I had a Cadillac Deville, the average outfit that I wear costs a minimum of $500, I usually drop a few hundred at the bar or at restaurants even if I only stay an hour. plastic surgery does it really work or is it bad for me? Im 18 years old (man) at the moment and thinking to get plastic surgery like an extreme make over because i look too old like 35 years old. if i do get an go into an plastic surgery operation at this age would it be wrong or bad for me, would i look normal when i am 35 years old, or do i have the risk of getting skin cancer or would there be an high risk of the operation to be failed like go wrong.

I think i'm allergic to Medicated Chapstick? The other day i used some of my brothers chapstick and i woke up wih my lips swollen with tiny itchy red bumps. What do you think of my Plastic Surgery "bill"? I would like to propose a bill that would put restrictions on who can an can't have plastic surgery. Here is my proposed "bill": Under 21: You may not have plastic surgery unless for medical reasons. The reason for this is to show teens that getting plastic surgery just for looks or to satisfy some need is VERY dangerous-especially since teens bodies are still growing and forming. Over 21: You may have plastic surgery, but there is a restriction on how many you can have. Also, prices of recieving plasic surgery should be raised to further imply that plastic surgery for non-medical reasons is dangerous and wrong. Prices for medical plastic surgery would not be raised. I think that if this was a law it would really help people understand the dangers of plasic surgery. I believe that it is wrong to go through all that work just for looks. And why would you want to pay thousands of dollars for breast implants? What is your opinion on my idea?

Would you have plastic surgery if it was free? What would you get done? I wouldn't, because I think it doesn't improve your appearance, it makes it more fake and a lot of procedures go horribly wrong. People have died after having plastic surgery as well... I just don't like the look of it, and prefer everything natural :) You shouldn't change yourself.
how to convince my mother about plastic surgery? Hello, please do not take this wrong ! My mother is 46 years old and her husband 8 years younger, she keeps telling me that she feels insecure with her body due to 3 kids and her husband being younger than her ( i have seen young girls cheking him out) and it bothers me . They have been married for about 20 years but things are getting difficult between then now since she does not look as young as she used to and even if my stepfather seems to love my mother, sometimes i feel that he reject her because of her body image and so i want my mother to look go so she can kick him out and feel confident with herself. I believe that people have to look good for their partners. Should I do plastic surgery? My boyfriend has told me that, for my birthday, he would pay for me to do plastic surgery -- something I had wanted to do for a long time. My bust is DD and I had wanted to reduce it forever. However, I have two concerns: 1) that something can go wrong (like infection or swelling or whatever) and 2) my mother is currently in a lot of financial trouble and I feel like this money should have gone toward her instead. I would feel guilty spending all of that money on me. (However, he is not offering it to her and it would take a lot of convincing for that, if at all.) What should i do?

What's the religious point of view about plastic surgery? Since always I've felt that I wanted some, I was too young when I started to think about that and I used to feel the necesity for the time to go fast and be 18 and finally do it. Now that I am, I haven't moved a finger about it, mostly because I'm not sure if God is agrees with it. It's affecting your natural way, the way he made me. When I was younger I wanted to make some dramatic changes that thankfully I don't think I'd do anymore, especially after seeing that Ashlee Simpson stuff... I think it's sick to change so dramatically the way you are. The only think I'd still considering would be a rhinoplasty (aka nose job). Anyways, I have that little feeling of fear for God about it, althought my way of thinking about surgery have changed a lot, the idea of a little work in the nose makes me kind of happy. Is there an scripture in the Bible and/or the BoM that talks about that? Why would it be wrong to do it?
Should I get plastic surgery? My medications are causing facial lipoatrophy which makes my face look sunken and makes me look sick. Looking like I do, I can't get good pick ups at bars, clubs, social functions, etc. I feel as if people are genuinely afraid of me.
