Could I get liposuction on my chin? My chin juts out a lot (it is as big as my nose, I used to get teased about it and have had confidence issues ever since). How to get rid of a double chin? I'm 5'7", weigh 120 lbs, and my measurements are 32-26-34. But I've always had a double chin. It's genetic and makes me look and feel much fatter than I am. Why have small, hairless spots under my chin/neck appeared after my chin/neck liposuction? I had lipo on my neck and chin. I have a five-o-clock shadow today and noticed there are 3 small spots (.25" diameter) of no hair. Is this the cause of the lipo? Will it ever grow back (not that I care--just curious)? Surgery to remove fat from chin? Hi, everyone. When most people mention "liposuction of the chin" they mean the small roll of fat (I've heard it referred to as "turkey neck"), but I mean something totally different. All my life, I've been extremely insecure about the fat on top of my chin, right in the front of my jaw. I was wondering if there's anything a surgeon could do to make my chin/jaw less protruding. If I have liposuction of the face, where I carry fat genetically, will my face fill in again? I've always had "chubby" cheeks, and I envy women who have thin faces. How can you reduce swelling after liposuction on the 10th day after surgery? I had lipo on my chin (yeah, I know that's an odd place to have lipo), and I'm still swollen (which I know is normal) and it's the 10th day after surgery. I was prescribed 800mg Motrin, which has brought down the swelling considerably; however, I am still swollen and I need it to start going down a lot more! I've been massaging it, which I think helps. I am though dreadfully scared of knives and have tendency to keloid scars. Then I heard about lipdissolve - some injections, supposedly the same effect as the Liposuction, but no need to cut anything. Then I found a web site, and the reviews for this dissolve were very negative. People said that it was very painful and didn't help. Is it true? Maybe they were very overweight people, trying to lose weight this way. I just need to remove a little bit of it. Does it work?
