  1. If your into it then it should be a good thing but if your not into it then it shouldnt matter if its a good or bad thing.
  2. Bad, very bad.
  3. To me it is pretty scary to go "under the knife" God made us the way we are and we should do our best to stay fit and tone and then we shouldn't have to do things to our bodies. Of course if someone has been burned or trauma to the body I am all for it to help correct the problem. I feel that we should take care of ourselves and eat well along with exercise then that is the ticket. Hope I helped and nothing against anyone that is for surgery because we all have our own opinions and hope it honestly works out for them. Good Luck
  4. I believe in natural beauty. As a cosmetologist there are less invasive options to make you look your best. I don't think Cosmetic surgery should be used unless you have a real hang-up with your looks.
  5. Good and bad. If you are confident in ur self and you are doing this for urself and not for others than i think its fine. But if you are very self conciouse and think everything is wrong with u and and that ur life will get better after the surgery then I say no. These are the people that become addicted to surgery and other things of that nature because they will never be satisfied with the results.
  6. I think its GOOD Everyone has their insecuritys and cosmetic surgery is just a way of taking away your insecurities, giving you much more confidence in yourself and how you look. Its worked fantasticly for alot of people that can then actually like their body which they havnt in the past. I think its brilliant but not for 'barbies' that want to take it way over the top and be completely 'fake' and getting everything doen that they possibly can, thats the bad part of all of it and obviously the rare times that it all does wrong! x
  7. undergoing cosmetic surgery has its good and bad side.. if you're doing it to improve your self-esteem, as a need for the job, or to correct body problems, there's nothing morally wrong about it.. while if you're hooked on having 5 or more procedures done on your face and body (and still go back for more), maybe you should look deeper and find out ways to appreciate your being.. there's a line between the 'need" and the "want".. cosmetic surgery is becoming expensive in the US and Europe.. the trend for cosmetic or plastic surgery nowadays is people availing of a Medical Tourism package with an all-inclusive cosmetic procedure, airfare, vacation, spa, shopping and still save 50-80%, when done outside of the US.. great info here -
  8. Both. It's good because if there is something that you don't like about yourself you have the ability to change it. You can do what it takes to make you happy. It's bad because people take it to the extreme. They get stuff done that just looks unnatural and obviously fake. They go overboard and get the whole shebang done (think extreme makeover shows). How do you explain to your kids that they look like lawn gnomes because of genetics when you look like barbie?? I understand getting a little nip & tuck here and there, but I think that there is a lot to be said for people who age naturally and gracefully. Those 70 year old women who look 30....they aren't fooling anyone. Overall--I think that you should be happy with who you are, but if you aren't happy then you should do whatever you can to make you happy. Cosmetic Surgery is like everything else, it's fine in moderation.
  9. I don't see anything wrong with it. If you like it then it's good for you, if you don't like it then look the other way, it shouldn't matter to you, what other people are doing is not your business, don't judge them for what they choose to do.
