Has anyone ever lost more than 70 pounds and NOT needed plastic surgery?
I'm speaking of modern day...where people can have a body lift if their remaining abdomen is hanging down to their knees. Can someone actually lose weight slow enough that they could lose a pannus (hanging abdomen)? I see so many shows of women getting full body lifts after bariatric surgery, but is that necessary just because they lost weight so fast, then excercised after? If you have links to any before after photos (of women who haven't had surgery after drastic weight loss), that would be great. Thanks!

- My dad he went on the Atkins.Sorry I don't have pics.
- Have you ever watched a subway commercial? Jarred!!!!!!!!
- I don't think it's possible for the skin and loose muscles to tighten back up without surgery. I had a 9 pound baby and gained a lot of weight when I was pregnant with her (60 lbs). Six months after I had her I had lost 70 pounds through exercising and breastfeeding and my stomach looked saggier than it did right after I had her. So I don't know, maybe some women are blessed with good skin elasticity but I am not one of them. I'm planning on getting a tummy tuck as soon as I can afford it.
- I'm a bariatric patient and my response is all depend is your skin had elasticity and you lose the weight with help of exercise is possible to return in the most part to a good condition. In my case part of my skin(face, leg, torso) is very normal. My stomach I operate but is more vanity that is super bad. I had the opportunity to operate (medical insure) and decide to used. But I had several girlfriend and they decide no operate and honestly is not noticeable. Is a personal decision and depend on the skin condition.
