Do you think plastic surgery leaves people worse off than they were before?

l looked through before-and-after photos of celebs and a lot of them looked SO much better before and now they look awful! some even look hideous now! They say plastic surgery is supposed to make people look beautiful but I think it makes people look uglier. Classic examples are Jennifer Grey, Janice Dickinson, Lisa Rinna, and of course, we can't forget Michael Jackson. What do you think about people going under the knife? Would you ever recommend it to a friend or should people just accept who they are? You're right I wouldn't say Jennifer Grey looks ugly now, she looks fine, its just that no-one recognizes her anymore and it ruined her acting career!! I loved her in dirty dancing :)

I've seen a few subtle nose jobs that looked good, and I think boob jobs can look good if they don't go any larger than a C. But some are AWFUL, and I don't think I've ever seen good lip injections...

Depends. My mom was self conscious about her nose. She had plastic surgery. One small operation. She likes her face so much better now. It has lifted her self esteem. As long as the end result is good, why the fuck not?

In those cases you presented (except for maybe Jennifer Grey, I think she just got her nose done), they went to the extreme with plastic surgery and that's why they look so bad. Jennifer Grey with just her nose job isn't so bad but my God those others....I don't think they have any natural body left!
If you're lucky, it makes you look better. I mean lipo and all.. they just give you bat wings, y'know what I mean? I didn't know ppl thought plump lips were attractive!. Mine are plump and full but not all that attractive.
