Cost of minor surgery in Canada, if compared to the US?

Hey, I need to be circumcised (for medical reasons), and my insurance won't cover this surgery at all, so I was wondering how much it would cost in Canada? Because in the USA in the area where I live it will cost $2000-$3000. I live really close to Vancouver, BC (3 hour drive), so if there is a significant difference in prices of such procedure, I will consider to do it in Canada. Thanks all!
