Have you noticed that Michael Jackson is NOT the only celebrity who has had surgery?

I noticed a question that was asked about Michael Jackson. First of all, the question was just silly and asking for silly answers and got them. Now, for my question... Why do people pick on Michael Jackson so much more than other celebrities who have had plastic surgery, mistreated their children, and in other ways acted, well, just plain weird? There are many celebrities who have had their entire faces altered and don't even resemble themselves. Many have been in the news for harming their own children, many have been arested for drugs, had their dirty pictures spread across the internet and yet they are only in the news for a little while. Poor Michael can't outlive any of his mistakes, why is this? I am not trying to take up for Michael, but I do think he is a sad soul. There has to be some underlying reason for the things he has done. It just seems to me that he has done nothing more sick or wierd than some of the other celebrities. But, he gets far more ridicule, which is what I still don't quite understand. He has had plastic surgery, yes, but so have several others. I can think of at least two who look nothing like their former selves- but nothing is said about them that I have heard. So what if Michael wanted to lighten his skin, that is a complement to us white folk- and many of us go to the tanning bed. Why do we do that? We want to be darker...

4. He's an easy target. None of the other people you are talking about used to be a black man that turned into a white man. None of them are so flamboyant as to have an amusement park in their back yards for their young "guests." When you put yourself out into the public like he does, you are an easy target. Also, he's a guy. Most guys don't get plastic surgery and face lifts.
5. Michael Jackson was accused, more than one time, of molesting young boys, even leaving the country after the latest one. It's not just the plastic surgery, it's the way he has conducted himself overall. Michael is a predator who paid off families to drop charges.

8. I think it's because he's a guy and men aren't allowed to get plastic surgery if they want. Does anyone say anything about CHER? But she is a woman. Who said that men can't be concerned about their appearance, while at the same time encourage women to get breast implants? That would be narrow minded macho men! Also I think that mainstream people don't understand that someone might be eccentric and choose to live that way and for it to be OKAY. Yeah...."he hangs out with children, that must make him a child rapist".....people make conclusions about other people based on stereotypes. When it comes to pedophilia though, it's not their fault because it IS such a horrible problem. I just don't think MJ is a pedophile.
