1. They do not do any type of surgery on rosacea. Is it a permanent condition. You need antibiotics daily to keep it under control and facial cream to help keep it from geting worse.
2. Oh, my doc (gp) has a new magic machine. It does not use a laser, but I believe radio waves or a different type of wave. Sorry can't remember the name now, but could find out. Anyway, it most definitely treats rosacea and redness. Many women have gone through this procedure - a number of treatments - and the redness is gone !!! I'm in NY, where the latest stuff is happening. I don't know where you are. Also, it is painless. You lie down and a wand covers your face. I wish I knew the name of the process - darn!
