Cosmetic Surgery Info/Advice/Help?

To put a long story as short as possible... I have this birthmark, or in other words a mole, which my doctor recommends me to get rid of. Now some moles can be cancerous, however, luckily, mine isn't [yet]. I've had this mole since I was born, so it's not a matter of if I'm sick of it or not. I just happen to be afraid of needles and stuff and prefer a very painless method of mole removal if necessary. When I mentioned painless to my doctor, she told me to get "laser mole removal". I guess I am looking for anything out there right about now. I want to know exactly what methods are out there, how each one works, can you feel it, what is the average cost, etc. I greatly appreciate any information anyone can provide. I personally want some primary opinions too, not propaganda stuff. So if you happen to know anything...maybe you've removed a birthmark or two yourself, or you're a cosmetic surgeon (who knows?), anything and everything is greatly appreciated =] Oh... and I prefer if websites were not sent to me, because I'm sure I have seen it before (although still appreciated). But if you think it's REALLY helpful, then why not?

  1. I will give you an advice. I had my laser removal on my mole but after one year, it went back. I wasted like a lot of money but it went back. Don't try it because it can cause cancer. Just let it be. I got a lot of moles since i was a baby and it's on my face. Don't touch it because it's part of your body. Just friendly advice.
