What is it about plastic surgery that keeps people going back (addiction)?
I don't get it. Obviously you can tell when someone has had too much. I'm not talking patients who have to go through multiple surgeries to correct a problem. I'm talking about the people who keep going back to have MORE done. And then more. And some more... and eventually they look like a plastic doll instead of a real person... I actually feel sad for these people.

- They just want to look better and better. It's like getting a haircut. You want your hair to get better each time.
- It's simple really and the same applies to any addiction (none of which are beneficial) They get plastic surgery because they don't like something about themselves. Then they come out and love the feeling of looking better, it's something fresh, something exciting about having a different look and perhaps a better look. After time however, that good feeling they got after having changed their looks begins to fade and they begin to feel that something else maybe isn't so great. Their expectations of other parts begin to rise and so... they get more done. That's what I think anyway.
- They are addicted because of the adreneline they have after getting it done. Like if you've ever had a piercing you feel so proud and get such a rush from the new peircing. I assume its the same with plastic surgery, always trying to find something new to perfect.
- Well people that keep getting tummy tucks are rich people that feel like getting their lazy butts off the couch and workout. The people that get their face redone is the people that want to be perfect but look fake we are not supposed to be perfect that is the way God made us. If he did we would not need plastic surgery. Those people that get it done they only do it because they have the and it is just in style. But trust me when it goes out of style and people that have never had anything done to them and they see the people that had it done those people will be so out of style and whatever. I could understand if you actually had a problem it would be fine but get stuff done just to get done is just wrong. That is just my opinion. Hope I helped. Kay Kay
