Is there a country were women dn't get influenced by media about their self image?

In America lots of women get cosmetic plastic surgery: breast, etc In japan and china too: Double eyelid surgery, etc. In Thailand too: And so on Is there any country were they don't have such a tendency to do that?

1. Africa. Lots of folks don't have tvs there. And maybe Bangledesh.
2. in third world countries like some in africa and asia, people are just trying to survive and dont really care how big their boobs are compared to angelina jolie. the world however is gradually getting to the point where everywhere you go theres gonna be media influence.

4. It is not necessarily the media, in my belief, that causes it. The media reinforces the image of the "ideal body image", but is merely an extension of the patriarchal culture from which it arises from.
5. Actually, there's a recent obesity outbreak in parts of Africa, because women want to get themselves fat so people don't think they've got AIDS. I think the answer of where women are least influenced by the media about their looks must be one of the strongly islamic countries, as they are told by religion not to 'display' themselves. My opinon anyway...

7. France. They may look it but suprisingly they dont. The only reason they are in shape and weigh less is because they walk EVERYWHERE they go.They also eat smaller portions then Americans.
