What do you think about Asians getting unnatural double eyelids?

Some of my asian friends were born with double eyelids (with a crease/fold in the eyelids) and I have some that weren't and they use the double eyelid glue and tape to make the crease. What do you think about it? Do you think using the glue and tape is bad? I also know that the rate of cosmetic surgery done on eyelids is really high over in Asia.. To Ori-Hime: Why do you find this offensive? Did you not read the details? Half of my friends have natural double eye lids.. I wasn't offending anyone and I'm Asian (Korean), so.. and it's a TRUE FACT.

3. I think if someone does it because it is a personal preference, that is fine. If people are doing it to attract someone or because they are unhappy and they think the change will fix whatever, it's a bad idea. The tape and glue is probably a good way to start -- after all it's not permanent.
4. you ask if i think it is "bad". no, i dont think it is bad but i do think it is stupid. most asians were born without the double eyelid. be proud of who you are and what your ethnicity is. different ethnicitys are all beautiful, don't try to change yours to fit someone elses. thats like a caucian or mexican "staightening" there eyelid lol to make it look like an asians. we all have different features. be proud of yours and dont try to change it, make it even more beautiful!

6. i had used that tape before, i didnt have double eyelids. using that tape was uncomfortable and causing irritation. but if your friends are lucky this can happen to them. when i stopped using tape, somehow i developed permanent double lids. looks really natural. and permanent. i dont understand! now it's only me who has natural double eyelid in my family. cosmetic surgery is just gross. using tape is better anyway. but some asians are just better looking without double eyelids! anything unnatural esp those which including surgery knive are scary.
7. why would anyone think that using the glue and tape is bad? i think you would be the only rude one thinking that way. well, i assume that you're thinking that way because you wouldnt ask this question if you dont. i'm an asian with natural double eyelid and i really find your question very offending.
