Liposuction..how is recovery?

I had lipo on my hips, buttocks, stomach and love handles..I am in alot of pain..actually it is getting better, but I do not notice a difference, except for tons of bruises actually welts..Is this Normal?

1. Yes! It took 3 weeks for my swelling to go down. The bruises may take a little longer, although most of them will be gone but some discoloration may remain for longer. And it hurt! I was starting to regret spending the money and time, but love the results now. Be patient. Your beautiful new you is just around the corner!
2. Like the other person said give it time. If you went to a doctor in the states you should be fine. If you went south of the US border to get a cheaper deal you might worry. Liposuction doesn't get rid of all your fat. Once the swelling goes down you should see an improvement, but from what I've seen the improvement isn't always that big.
