Liposuction at 18??

Has anyone had liposuction.. do you think it is really necessary? How long is recovery... how much does it cost? I am just curious.. I do not feel the need to get liposuction just to be clear... it is just a running debate within my circle of friends.

1. My mom had and it was such a waste of money , its pretty useless because you fall into the same bad habits and you will gain all the weight back.
2. Are you serious? Honestly I think you could lose weight in other ways. There is always a risk when you undergo any surgical procedure and liposuction is not a good choice unless you have exhausted all other ways to try and lose the fat.
