four days after liposuction and it looks horrible?
I had tumescent liposuction on the "saddlebags" of my outer thighs. The day after surgery, I noticed the results! The saddlebags were gone, although the area was bruised and lumpy looking. Now, after four days, my thighs look almost as big as they were before. If I hadn't seen the 850 cc's of fat with my own eyes, I would swear nothing had been removed. What is going on? Is it just swollen? Is it going to shrink again? Is there anything I should be doing to encourage the swelling to go down? Arrggghh! wow, thanks you guys for being encouraging and nice!! so many ppl are mean when they answer questions, maybe the anonymity makes them feel powerful. thanks, everyone. :)

- i believe it takes about 4 weeks for the swelling to be less noticeable.
- Everything I've ever read about lipo, and the shows I've seen on TV, it can take months for the swelling to go away completely. Good Luck!
- The swelling is very normal and your doctor should have told you upfront about it. Some doctors recommend ice packs and others don't. I suggest that you call your doctors office and see what they recommend. You should have also received paperwork from the hospital giving you instructions for the first 2 weeks of home care and special instructions for the first 48 hours so that you know what to expect. Look through any paper work that they may have given you when you left the hospital.
- You need to be patient for at least 1 month. It is swollen now and full of fluids.Don't forget to wear your corset and be patient. After it heals it will look great.
- don't worry you need time you jave a big surgery, just take care of your self be calm about you need more than just a few day to see the result, but you doctor told you how long you body is going to feel bad, i know it take a more than 20 days so be calm good luck
- Do a Google search on Results after that procedure. Ease your Mind and tell your Dr if it looks out of the ordinary.
- It takes time to get to the final result. Be patient dear. My niece did it and hurt like h*ll, but in the end she got a beautiful body.. Stay cool..
- It's swelling, this is not a procedure that will shows results over night. You have to be patient, it could be months before you see the final results. After a couple of week you can massage the area (ask your doctor about this).
