Do you look down on celebrities with plastic surgery?
Our world is a very shallow, celebrity obsessed place, where the stars are the ones who suffer the biggest repercussions from that. They are known as the "beautiful" people, and many have resorted to plastic surgery to earn that title. However, do you look down at people such as Lisa Rinna or Ashley Simpson for having cosmetic surgery? Or is it just a part of becoming a star, something you have to do? Would you still be as interested in them if they were more average looking?

- the worst thing a celeb can do!. plastic sur cos it ruins them there already beautiful so why change themselves but then again its there choice if they dont feel happy with thereselves they do have the right to change themselves. even if we dont want them too but notice how happier celebs are with there bodies!. if they dont go crazy on it then it could be fine but if its constant ps then its going ott it is shallow and its not a good thing to do!
- yeah.. cuz they got low self esteem
- I don't look down on them If it's something like a nose or something that you feel doesn't fit you. but getting big breast implants or butt implants is something I think is dumb... I know it sounds hypocritical, but it's really not.
- I think it's totally ok for people to have plastic surgery if it makes them feel better - regardless of whether they're famous or not. Having said that, what I don't like is celebs who overdo on the plastic surgery to the point where they look like The Thing That Wouldn't Die (think Joan Rivers, Katie Price), or ones who act like they've never had any and wouldn't deign having any, when it's so blatantly obvious that they HAVE. I mean, if you're gonna do it at least own up to it.
- No I don't! If I had money like they do I would change things. Plus, you know they have to look good in order to get parts and jobs!
- Sort of. My aunt got a nose job. People like LIsa Rinna, yes. I understand my aunts reason, but why make your face so fake that you always look mad, or sad or happy. One celebrity (I cannot remember who) said "Why would actors and actresses want to get botox. Acting is about expression and if you've got rubber in your face you have no expression." -Angie :)
- No i don't look down on them. Its their life and their choice and if they want to look better then more power to them plus its none of my business what they do with their bodies.
- Of course not. How would you feel if you had your face plastered all over national magazines, with people saying your nose is too wide or your lips are too thin or your chin is too big?
- NOT AT ALL it depends on who they are inside!!! dont judge a book by its cover.
- I am over all not in support of plastic surgery. However, celebrities have every right to have it if they want. People who aren't famous have it done all the time, but does everybody give them a hard time about it? And yes, if celebrities were average looking I would still be interested in them. It's their personalities that count and not their looks.
- Hate to say it, but yes. I think of them in a differently compared to those who haven't done anything to their bodies. They have a right to do all they want, but it just seems unnatural to me, especially if they overdo it to the point where they don't look human anymore.
- I honestly feel people would be happier if they accepted themselves as is. Lisa Rinna now looks like a total FREAK from messing with her face, and so many more do too- Priscilla Presley, Bruce Jenner, Meg Ryan, they just start looking less human. I love how Jamie Lee Curtis is aging naturally and gracefully. She's a great role model!
- I'm sorry, I didn't feel like readinq all of that so I'm just qonna write this...
- The thing is that most celebrities were already celebrities when they started getting plastic surgery, And a lot of them end up looking ridiculous with their big puffy lips, boob jobs and cheek implants. I think it's kind of pathetic that they lose the self-confidence that made them a star in the first place:
