What do they do with the fat from liposuction?

This is seriously "icky", but I have to ask...WHAT DO THEY DO WITH THE FAT FROM LIPOSUCTION? My friend Mike is c-r-a-z-y...I asked him, and he said they package it up, ship it to Norway, and then the people in Norway convert it into fuel for electricity. Please tell me that Norway doesn't rely on excess American blubber!!
