Does Liposuction cause fat to develop in other areas of the body?
Public Comments
- What happens is that with liposuction they remove the fat and fat cells in a particular area...it's not a miracle cure. When and if you start to put some weight on again, it is true that it will start to collect in an area where liposuction wasn't done because there are fat cells there.
- No. Fat cells accumulate at birth. You have a static number of them throughout your life. Liposuction removes them, which is good, right!?
- There seems to be some anecdotal and empirical research to support a claim, but nothing definitive
- Yes, the fat can come back elsewhere. When fat is removed from a particular area or areas of the body (for example, just the thighs and stomach) and no change is made to the person's diet or lifestyle, the person will put on weight. The fat cells have been mostly removed from those areas, so the fat has to go somewhere else. So it ends up making other parts of the body fat instead. So you can end up with strange areas getting wobbly and fat - such as the back - or just fat piling on the arms, for example, resulting in the person looking quite odd.
- Get liposuction surgery in India.Cosmetic and dental Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. I have also read that they arrange financing for American and Canadian patients as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your Liposuction can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star. my cousin got a couple of cosmetic surgery procedures in India like the facelift, liposuction through the forerunners healthcare.she is more than very happy with the results.she just paid 30% of the amount she was quoted in USA and is all praise for this forerunners healthcare company.i personally have seen the wondeful results and am particularly impressed with the kind of quality care she got from this company. - In a way. If you maintained your weight your body will be its desired shape after lipo. If you get fat it won't go to your lipo-ed problem areas anymore but grow in areas that used to be thin. Ex. lipo thighs= bigger stomach after weight gain but thighs still slim.
