Or she meant it implicitly, without saying it outright. So I have this close female friend (im male), and was at her place when she was showing me her facebook where she points out one particular photo and is like "wow look at this look at how many comments I've gotten on it" and she showed me all of them were like "wow ur so hot etc. etc." and I was like "yeah great" then she said "but uve got to admit this wouldn't happen on any of ur photos no offense" and this pretty much made me feel like ****. I could just tell from the tone of her voice she knew she was better looking than me and it's so depressing because there is nothing I can do to change how my face is. And I know I'm not gorgeous but it still hurts. I keep thinking I am ugly now and I don't want to leave the house and let people see mee ugly face. Please don't comment "it's inside what counts" and "u need confidence" PLZ. What do i do :( Plastic Surgery?

A guy is going to comment on a girls picture saying "your hot" before a girl is going to do the same on a guys picture... If she's saying that, she isn't a good friend. And I don't care how hot she might be on the outside, she sounds pretty damn ugly inside.

you really dont need any major surgery to make yourself look good. little things can enhance what you already have, like a new hair cut, glasses if you dont need them the fashion kind that are cute, even colored contacts. there is def not need to do something like surgery

It was a very thoughtless and cruel remark - which makes her sound very shallow. But remember, that is only her opinion. Other people will see you differently. And altho you say you don`t want to hear that old chestnut that `Beauty is only skin deep` - you know it is true. Or should do. We are what we are, not how we look.
Don't be ridiculous, she is clearly not a real friend. Plastic surgery should only be available for people who are disfigured. You need to get yourself a new friend sweetie as this one is clearly not doing anything good for you. You will feel a hell of a lot better if your around people who don't put you down What she doesn't realize is that lads are only commenting her these things because they want to sleep with her and that's cheap degrading attractiveness, not something to be desired for yourself. maybe you have to find a women who will love you the way you are. or maybe you're not her type of guy! For plastic surgery, don't do it you'll spoil your face, it won't look natural. Plastic surgery would be like a MASK TO COVER YOUR FACE Just be yourself ! GOOD LUCK

I am so sorry you have such a horrible friend. I would just call her ugly back and say stuff like 'if you didn't wear a sh1tload of makeup, you'd be hideous' then say 'aww just kidding' after you've got a reaction. These stuck up people need to be taught a lesson honestly. If she goes all huffy and upset just say 'you shouldn't take things so serious' She was a bitch to say that, it's not what a friend is supposed to be like. Why would you want to be friends with a stuck up girl who loves herself and puts you down?

Well, the situation can be interpreted in so many ways.... Did she smile while saying it? She could have been joking, you know.... For example, i had this hot female friend who used to tease me quite a lot and later I realized it was all done in a fond manner and she was always smiling jokingly while teasing me. Secondly, you should know that women generally like to be complimented. Who knows, maybe she was expecting you [as a male] to reaffirm those comments and since you didn't, maybe she reacted by throwing a negative comment at you. I'm certainly NOT gorgeous (pretty moderate, really), but I've realized that as girls get mature, [16+] they tend to be wary of good looks only. Instead, girls/women are really attracted to confident and "in charge" guys. Therefore with this knowledge, go forth and conquer the world... ;-)
