PLASTIC surgery??!??!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?
HI, im 13, and when i was 12, i was on the basketball team, i got hit on my nose with a basketball, and my nose has a bump on it, it looks ugly. I could barley look in the mirror haha. And the doctor said my breathing is normal, but i think thats a lie, because before i breathed perfectly, so is plastic surgery the right thing to do? or is there any other way?

- Personally, I don't think plastic surgery is ever a great option. Why take the risks for something so little? But hey, everyone has a choice to make. That being said, I would exhaust all options prior to going that route. There is a product called the Nose Huggie that you might want to look into. I am including a link to the product as well as a review on it but please do your own research. Also, the bonus is that it isn't that expensive. Roughly $20 + shipping.
- There's no other way. But typically they would make you wait until you were like 18 because you bones are still growing and they wouldn't want to deform you :] If you really are having breathing problems tell your doctor, but they would just do a surgery for that. I would suggest just waiting it out, as much as that sucks.
- i mean unless its Really bad i wouldnt worry about it..i mean any time you break ur nose theres gonna be marks to show that there was an injury.but plastic surgery would cost anywhere for maybe 3,000 to 10,000 dollars.and the bruising can last up to 2 months after the surgery.so if anything i would wait till your older to fix anything.its probably not as bad as u think it is.
- David...I hit with a baseball bat that broke my nose, and left a big ole hump. I have lived with it for sixty years. Its all a part of being a boy growing up. It will give you stature of recognition. I don't think the doctor was lying son. Just be proud of who you are, and don't worry about the lump. Your great ! Good Luck Steve
