is it actually worth it to have plastic surgery abroad?
I am living in California. I just thought that maybe Korean doctors know the asian faces the best and can offer the service at a low cost; but now that I thought carefully about it, the airplane tickets and the hotel room might just add up even with the price i can get here. Do you know of anyone that does this? Do you recommend any particular doctors or hospitals?

- NO BECAUSE THEN YOU'LL END UP LIKE MICHAEL JACKSON. AND HE GOT PLASTIC SURGERY TONS OF TIMES. GOOD LUCK. JUST AN INFLUENCE FOR PEOPLE. :D
- yes, korea's face surgeries have high demands, considering their professions, and other asian countries especially china and japan coming to korea to achieve same same surgery.... the plastic surgery tend to be near perfect and accurate... but most korean girls just get the double eyelid surgery, which is a simple process and cost only like 5 grands or less.... recommendation on certain hospital is hard to say.... they vary in profession, process, cost, accuracy, etc...
- I'm considering going to Korea to get some work done. It is worth the trip. The plane ticket, hotel and surgery costs still come out to less than what I would be paying in North America. I want to get my eyelids and my nose done. Here, I have been quoted $5200 for my eyelids (mine cost more because it's a revision operation) and another $6000 for my nose. Total is $11200. To fly to Korea and get my surgeries done will cost me around $7000; $6000 for the operation and $1000 for a plane ticket. The clinic I am going to go to provides free accommodation for people that are from outside of Korea. It's only free until your stitches are taken out. The clinic I'm going to is called BK Dong Yang Plastic Surgery Clinic. Apparently, it's the biggest and most well known in Korea. I don't know if that's true or not... Here's the link to their site http://english.bkdy.co.kr/overview/overview.asp Everything you need, including pricing is all on the site. Korea has become very well known for plastic surgery. It became really popular with foreigners because it was cheaper to go to Korea and apparently the surgeons and are top notch. There are also MANY people that perform surgeries but are not qualified to. They obviously cost a lot less but it's not worth the risk. You should also think about what type of operation you want. If it's something like eyelids and nose, surgeries that are really common in Korea, then go. If it's a procedure that is more common for white people, then definitely stay within North America. Anyway, I hope that helped.
