Should the golden ratio be allowed to be implemented into cosmetic surgery?

It's all about 1.618/divine proportions/phi - basically it's all to do with physical beauty and getting the best facial proportions.

  1. shouldnt it be the goal?
  2. Yes
  3. It often is used in cosmetic surgeries when figuring out where and what to put things.
  4. Who's going to stop it from being used? The golden ratio guards? Of course it's used. Cosmetic surgeons do a lot based on measurements and "ideal" proportions. They write it out on paper ahead of time, and then mark the patient before we go back to the OR.
  5. That would work well if you're operating on the Parthenon. Perhaps less so if you're reconstructing a mangled hand.
