  1. One would think so, yes. Reasoning being that you are made in god's image and you are not allowed to alter it for cosmetic reasons (medical exceptions aside). Unless of course you want to go the Carrie Prejean route and say breast implants are okay because the bible doesnt explicitly forbid breast implants.
  2. The Bible does not specifically address a Christian having plastic surgery or cosmetic surgery. There is nothing in the Bible to indicate that plastic surgery is, in and of itself, wrong. However, there are several things that one needs to consider before deciding whether or not to undergo these procedures. Altering one's body is unnatural, and there are always risks of potential side effects, both physical and psychological. No one should allow himself to be put “under the knife” without first thoroughly researching all alternatives, risks, and side effects involved with the surgery. A person also needs to fully identify his or her motivation for desiring the surgery. For many with physical deformities—whether genetic or acquired—it is natural to want to fit into society and feel “normal.” There are also cases of slight abnormalities that would cause someone to feel very uncomfortable with himself, such as a very large or misshapen nose. But many, if not most, plastic surgeries are attempts to meet emotional voids in physical ways, to attract attention, or to seek approval from others. http://www.gotquestions.org/plastic-surgery.html
  3. No, it isn't against the Bible. We all fix our hair, change our clothes to things we like. Plastic surgery is kind of like those things, in my opinion. Having said that, plastic surgery is far more expensive than fixing your hair or changing your clothing style. You might pray about whether the Lord wants you do go that route or not :)
  4. No. I might consider it if I didn't think I'd have to keep going back.
  5. You may love yourself as you are (as God made you)...so, it could be wrong... But if it makes you happier, you should do it...God likes we love ourselves
  6. I do not think so.. Im sure some do. Now if you have a disfigured nose or a droopy eye then I would have it fixed.. but completely changing the way you look-i dont like that.
  7. Yes. One of the biggest sins is vanity. The Bible shows us that it is wrong to have tatoos, piercings and cosmetic surgery. Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD. Leviticus 19:28 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 1 Cor 3 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1 Cor 6:19 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple. 1 Cor 3:17 See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse- the blessing if you obey the commands of the LORD your God that I am giving you today; the curse if you disobey the commands of the LORD your God and turn from the way that I command you today by following other gods, which you have not known. Deuteronomy 11 The LORD your God commands you this day to follow these decrees and laws; carefully observe them with all your heart and with all your soul. Deuteronomy 26 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven." Jesus Christ (Matthew 5:17) "You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments. Exodus 20 It's important to follow Jesus and walk in the way of of God—the way of his Bible—living according to every word in the Bible, instead of according to the ways of society or the desires of the flesh and of vanity. I would not consider plastic surgery for any other reason apart from medical reasons e.g. if you have been badly burned and need reconstructive surgery. If you follow Jesus and his teachings obey God's Law and all the Commandments you will be rewarded greatly.
