What would be THE best university to attend for plastic/reconstructive/cosmetic surgery?

  1. You can start anywhere. Get a 4-year college degree, major in anything, and take the premed classes in bio, chem, physics, math, and English. Keep your college GPA over 3.5 and do well on the MCATs. Then you apply to med school at another university. That's another 4 years. And after that you apply for your residency in general surgery somewhere else again - that's the first time you need to look for a school specializing in surgery, not before, and that's at least 8 years from now - the best schools for those things can change in just a few years. There's no point in listing them now, since you won't need them until then.
