Why did Michael Jackson keep getting plastic surgeries even after his face was all jacked up?

I thought he looked real cute in the early to mid nineties during the height of his career. Why did he have to go messing around with his face when it looked normal?

1. He got nose surgeries cause his daddy always called him Big Nose and abused him.
2. well, his father called him "ugly" everyday... and u know there was a good point made by lisa presley during an interview that always stuck with me, "hes an artist, once he sees something wrong he has to change the whole thing immediatly." and i thought that was a good point, he says that he only had 2 surgries on his nose...but in my BEST opinion, he had more. and i believe that his fathers words "your ugly" stuck with him and he never was happy with himself...ever.
3. it all started back in the 70's when he fell and broke his nose while performing onstage with the jacksons and had to have it fixed. and he kept going from there. i think MJ was hot in the 80's when he did rock with you and dont stop till you get enough

5. I wanna say a rumor about it, but it is almost fake. Something about finding a body that was the real one, and the fake one that we know did other things to ruin his image.
6. Did you know that in the early 90s he was doing a commercial for Pepsi and a stupid person working there got his hair on fire, so his face caught on fire too so he had to get reconstructive surgery on his face. PS he claimed to have villitigo which turned his skin white gradually.
7. he was hella sensitive about what pple said about him...but honestly he was SOOO handsome before the whole bleaching took place! ... but whatever i love him regardless..:)
8. I agree with you MJ was really hot back in his time. but the reason for the surgery was because he was a perfectionist and he was never perfect in his mind he was ugly and he hated it. Also Like some other people said he grew up being emotionally and physically abused by his father, which caused him to do the things he has done. But everything happens for a reason! he's in a better place now[:

Well first his dad always called him big nose and when he played bball with people they would tell him he can't play because his nose would be in the way... also he fell off of the stage once and had to get surgury Second some people think that when he looked in the mirror he saw his dad and wanted to change his look as much as possible so he wouldn't look like his dad whom beat him. It is sad... his life was so hard and he was a hansome young boy.
10. no one knows for sure. only he could answer that question. some say because he broke it and some say cuz he didnt like it. i dont really have an opinion tho. but he changed his skin color because he started getting white patches everywhere. that is also the reason he wore one glove.
11. He never had a normal childhood. He never got the opportunity to socialize with children his age. Plus his family is Jehovah's Witnesses. In that religion you aren't allowed to do certain things like celebrate birthdays or holidays. He and his brothers felt left out. Plus their father had an issue with the way he looked. Being black in America was tough and he thought if they change their features a little, they'll please white people. So the whole family (except maybe mom and Ruby) all got plastic surgeries. Michael just took it too far because he wasn't happy with himself. I believe Michael was only happy when he was on stage entertaining.
