Why did Michael Jackson have so many plastic surgeries to look the way he did?
I mean, he was CREEPY. I'm sad that he died cause he was an amazing dancer, but really, he was freaky looking. His poor little daughter was so sad at his memorial. :(

- yea, well for real his skin was due to an immune disease but the surgeries were all his own doing
- People have plastic surgery every day. Just because he was famous people pick on him for it. He said that he only had two operations, and that was on his nose. He wasn't creepy at all. Stop judging him by his looks.
- if you go on youtube and watch the series 'living with michael jackson' jackson himself explains - it is most likely to do with his masked living. he did not have a happy childhood so the theory is he wanted to change who he was as to forget that memory.
- He is not creepy and freaky. R.I.P. Michael, I love you. You are my Fan. Your not creepy and freaky.
- having to much plastic surgery is an addiction, just like anything else. People have said he was so unhappy with his apprearence that he went to those lengths to make himself look the way he wanted. His dermatologist or plastic surgeon or whatever said though, that he wanted his face to be like a work of art and be known all over, so when people see him they go WHOA...
- He said he only had 2 surgeries. He had lupus and vilitigo which made his skin to be discolored. would you really want to walk around with patches all over your skin?
- He felt as if he wasn't attractive enough, so he had himself "transformed". It's a shame at the things going on in his head. But there are hundreds of people out there like him...
- Michael wasn't the only person/celebrity who has had plastic surgery go ask about the others instead of Michael and Michael wasn't creepy you didn't even know him
- He ain't creepy or freaky...if u look past all his surgery his inner beauty shines and that makes him attractive :) He was a good looking guy, i have to admit that!
- Well he had Virgillo (Spellings not right), a disease that made his skin blotched white, so he ended up having to wear alot of pale makeup to even it out. He had 2 plastic surgeries on his nose, because he broke it and couldn't sing, or breathe, right. He says he didn't have any more plastic surgery, but I think he had one on his chin and maybe his cheeks. So what? People have surgery every day, the media just hates him.
- her use to jack off to little boys penis what the hell do you want woman? he was a pervert!
- If you lived with Joe Jackson telling you....you were ugly every other sec you would 2 lol.
- he was great lookin in 90's but after that, hmmm yea creepy the plastic surgery didnt last long.he wanted to look beautiful i can imagine how much pain he suffered last 10 yrs old his life
- AMAZING JOB AT THE MEMORIAL: PARIS JACKSON JENNIFER HUDSON AL SHARPTON (no particular order) QUEEN LATIFAH WORST JOB AT MEMORIAL: HEAL THE WORLD PEOPLE MARIAH CAREY THE PREACHER BUT TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION, MIKE HAD ENABLERS TELLING HIM TO KEEP GETTING PLASTIC ON HIS FACE
- He had plastic surgery on his nose because his father made fun of his nose because it was fat... I feel bad for Michael. I think he looked really good in 1988 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v53/floetic_justice/michaelj1.jpg http://www.bigdvdsale.co.uk/images/brisbane%20australia%20the%20bad%20tour%2087.jpg
- he had plastic surgery on his nose cuz wen he was young his dad called him bad names and said his nose was ugly basicaly like everyday. if ur dad did tht wouldnt u want 2 get plastic surgery???
- He really didn't have as many as people think. I mean, he was accused of doing his chin and cheeks, but if you have the software to superimpose a 2008 photo over a 1978 photo, you can see that he was telling the truth. The vitiligo was not something that he could help. He used the darker makeup in the beginning, but he had universal vitiligo (google it) you could see that it just became too difficult to use the brown makeup because the white splotches got bigger and more wide spread and it was easier to match the white patches than the brown ones. As for his nose, his father and all the kids he *did* get to hang around with when he was younger all made fun of his supposed "big" nose. It was actually more Roman style than African and Mike said that his dad had white people/blue eyes on his dads side but his dad would tell him that he "didn't get that big nose from me, ya musta got it from your mommas side". Thats not something to tell your own kid, but Joe did. All the time. So Mike became obsessed with his nose and it's size to where he just effed it up. Anorexics when they're skeletal still think they look fat. It was the same with his nose. And with his hair being straight...what was wrong with that? I guess he had to start experimenting with hair styles, maybe even wigs after he got burned severelly after his hair caught on fire during that Pepsi commercial in 1984. His head would be scarred and hair won't grow from scars. Michael Jackson gave everything he had to his fans...literally, everything he had. Body, mind, soul, money...everything. He gave his life and all people ever wanted to do was destroy him. We are so wrong as a society...first off for judging someone on their looks alone and not by who we are inside. Does it make sense? Do we judge a gift by the packaging or by what's inside?
- You know, he got a lot of flack for how his nose wound up, and got a lot of blame for it. We don't know the whole story. According to some of the stories out there, he had his first surgery on his nose because he broke his nose, then had the second one because the surgeon screwed it up, and he couldn't breath or sing right. What if the whole mess is a cascade failure due to the work of an inept surgeon? As for the cheek and chin implants, well, I guess that is how he wanted to look. The nose was the real issue, it was badly done. In any case, people have plastic surgery all the time, and we don't get so nosy about it. It might not even have been commented on as much if it weren't for the Vitiligo making such a drastic change in his skin color, and giving rise to rumors that he was bleaching his skin. These days it almost seems to be considered a rite of passage for a 16 year old girl (way too young imo) to have either a boob job or nose job. When I was growing up it was a rite of passage for a 16 year old girl to learn to drive. We have a society that is increasingly obsessed with appearances, and he was in show business. I don't think he ever wanted to look creepy, but he may have been the victim of bad doctors in general, and we'll never know the truth on that. I have heard it said that due to Joseph making abusive comments about his appearance, that he developed a mental disorder that gives you an imbalanced perception of your body image, and it seems that may be at the root of the problem. Paris could just break your heart with her comment at the end of the service.
- He did it to be different and he bleached his skin because he had a disease that made him have white blotches all over his skin, so to stay all the same color, he bleached his skin.
- I'm sure he didn't set out to be scary. Surgeries like tattoos can be addictions for people. Obviously he had some sort of dysmorphic disorder that affected his perception of the way he looked (much like bulimics do). And he didn't want to look like his father and his siblings and family teased him about having a big nose as a young man which created a great deal of insecurity. Not to mention, Vitiligo has a damaging psychological effect on those who suffer from it like my aunt.
