Why did Michael Jackson go through all those plastic surgeries?

y did he become white? i believe it was the reason that killed him..

5. Turning yourself white can not kill you.He went through the plastic surgeries because of his father's mockery of saying he was ugly and had a big nose.Also he did not turn himself white it was a direct result of his skin disease that made his skin lighten.
6. He got a million different plastic surgeries because he was unhappy with his nose. His dad used to make fun of him for having such a big nose which made him self conscious. After the first couple of times that he got plastic surgery on his nose he decided to experiment with other surgeries. So he then started to get face lifts, and reconstruct the shape of his face, etc. He became white because he got his skin bleached after claiming that he had a skin disease that caused his black skin to start getting lighter so to even it out he got it bleached. Although, him getting his skin bleached had nothing to do with his death! That was all blamed on drugs, etc.

9. Well i agree that he would still be here if he wouldn't of gone through all of those surgeries, and if he didn't take all of those pills. He was sooo frail and started to look ill. His 1st nose job was in 1978 when he broke his nose in a dance rehearsel, and then for the pepsi commercial when his hair caught on fire, that was a big turn on of plastic surgeries to come, its really sad. And i think that if that incident wouldn't of happened he wouldn't of been introduced to it... He also had vitiligo so he had to have all of his skin the same color and it was turning whiter, so i pray that was the true reason for him becoming white cuz i don't wanna think he just wanted to become white. But without all of these these things happening i do believe he would still be here, and i think the perscriptions drugs played a major role in his death. RIP
10. let me enlighten you being as i have an aunt that suffers from the same disease... it's called VITILIGO...and whether you want to or not, it lightens your skin eventually turning u white...theres a thing called skin re-pigmentation, but when michael was diagnosed with vitiligo this type of treatment wasn't available...and vitiligo can't kill you and his plastic surgeries were his decisions and no one has a right to judge him on that...everyone wants to make fun of him for trying to achieve what he considered beautiful...when everyday we change ourselves to achieve this...do we mock each other for putting on make up or buying a new outfit to cover our flaws? no... so i leave michael be...he was a beautiful person inside and out

13. Michael was very attractive and unfortunately he had a skin disease that caused him to turn white. His death is unknown and drug related. He also had a history of medical problems. The doctor may be charged with manslaughter for giving MJ drugs. Plastic surgery was probably to inhance his appearance and the nose jobs is from his dad teasing him. His dad used to make fun of his nose and beat him when he was a kid. So, please stop and look at his life before you think to judge him. He was a kind hearted man and he loved all his fans.
