Is there a double standard for female celebrities?

Ladies, what if your favorite male celebrity had or has plastic surgery, what if you found out that he covers bad acne with concealer, what if he had a defect like a third nipple or one testicle? Would you still find him hot? I ask because some girls here seem to tear into female celebrities, which is fine with me. I just wonder if it works both ways.

1. so what if they got it if they wish to do that then let em it make them feel better about there self and they ll sing better act better or do what ever they do better
2. Of course there's a double standard. Men are valued for who they are and what they can do. Women are ONLY valued according to how they look. There will always be a double standard. But I'm mean about celebrities in general, regardless of gender.
3. I dont think men really care. They dont really get petty like some women do. They just shrug and say "Eh...who cares?" and move on. But a female will look at everything on the other female and criticize it. I hate to admit since I am one, but we women can be b*tches ;)
