White women and surgical lips?

I'm getting concerned as to why so many White Females are enhancing their lips with plastic surgery and attaining a "feline" type appearance. It is quite scary...as apparent with Meg Ryan who has become a recent reincarnation of the Joker. Is this a fad, a trend, or do you think people are trying hard not to look American?

i dont think people are trying to not look american. and i dont see any white women doing this except for celebrities. i think white women want to be just that, white women and who cares if they want to plump their lips? there are white women with full lips you know. leave them alone if it makes them happy.
Many whites have full lips. Look at Scarlett Johansson. Big baboon lips are ugly.

Average lips are hot and kissable. Cute and lickable. Better than razor lips. So white women, I support you. Do the right thing.
I think they are victims of face lifts gone wrong.
It's a fad. Doesn't look natural and doesn't really enhance a woman's face if they look fake. Never thought normal lips looked bad to begin with. There's a doctor here who has a laser/botox/lip plumping business here and advertises on TV, she is a good example of why women shouldn't have that done. Fake looking. Women who are insecure for some reason and also have a lot of money are more apt to fix the outside of themselves instead of looking inside for the problem. Those kind of lips makes me think of hemaroids for some reason.
I think it suits some people if they don't have too much, but people like Katie price who have loads look terrible. I think it is just a fad and will either die out or will just become so popular that people don't even notice it anymore, and it will become like getting your nails done at the salon :D

That s#it is ugly on any women white women get it more but black women are hopping on that bus look at Lil Kim she looks just like a tiger now. Vivica Foxx is heading in that direction as well.
Yeah, it's almost like how every second White girl tans to look non-White. I think it's a sad attempt to look 'exotic', thanks to society's newfound fascination with 'exotic' women. A few years ago, it was all about the White women, but it's starting to change and White women are following suit. I personally think fake tans, lip injections and all that jazz is totally dumb and phony. Natural is best
Definitely a fad. Men and women in Hollywood do all kinds of crazy things to try and look "perfect." Since the "perfect" image of a woman includes full, pouty lips, that's what they're doing. I wouldn't consider a handful of celebrities, which make up a tiny portion of the world's population, to be "so many" white females, though. As for trying hard "not to look American," there's no "American" look because the population of this country is made up of many, many different ethnic groups. If you meant that they're trying to look "not white," that's also untrue because white women aren't devoid of lips...it's just genetics. Some people have genes for plump lips, some do not. It's just another celebrity fad, like dying the hair blond, getting breast implants, or becoming anorexic. And yes, she seriously does look like the Joker.
