It's because while everyone else sees their beauty, all they see are their imperfections. The think they look better when they get that done, but they really just look fake.

My, oh my.. there were way better looking the way they looked before. Those pictures definately scared me, but it's because like it was mentioned in the first answer.. because everyone else notices their beauty but they are only able to notice their imperfections and because they fear aging.
