Is it ok for a teenager to have plastic/cosmetic surgery?
Is it alright or should they wait untill they are 18? What about if it's there own money?

- Be yourself... That's the best person to be
- Why would you?? You haven't even developed yet! Unless you are scared from something I highly vote against it. What did Brittany Spears or some other teeny bopper do it so now you do? I hope there is a better reason!
- because you're still developing, i would wait, because you might grow those characteristics you want later in life. i would say only if it's absolutely necessary, like a deformity from an injury.
- I personally don't like plastic surgery. I think I'm ok looking, I have a gorgeous girlfriend, so I must not be completely ugly, but I definitely know what its like to be unhappy with some physical abnormalities you might have (i have yoda ears, but I have made peace with that, plus my girlfriend thinks they're cute) but first of all, our bodies don't stop growing until we're in about our early 20's. If there is something about your body that you don't like, WORK towards improving it and EARN a a nice body, don't take the expensive but easy way out. If there is something you don't like about your face, realize that most "perfect" famous people you see wear LOTS of makeup, and their photos are almost always digitally improved, also, I don't know about anyone else, but I can usually tell if it looks like someone has gotten plastic surgery, and honestly, for you to care so much about your appearance to actually pay thousands of dollars to undergo SURGERY, then you give people the impression that you are a fairly vain person. Be happy with who you are, know that a lot of people have things they don't like about themselves (me DEFINITELY included) and don't fall into this whole fad now of changing who you are on the outside to better conform to society. But, if you HAVE thought a LOT about this, and you feel that this imperfection is TRULY holding you back in life and you spend an enormous amount of time being frustrated over it, if plastic surgery is the ONLY way to fix it, then I would say still wait til you're at least 20 and make sure that it is without a doubt what you want to do.
- no
- No, because your body is still growing. Anyways, why would you want plastic surgery at such a young age...?
