No, I don't think it's either bad or good. I don't think I would ever personally get it for myself, but I don't think any less of those that do. Just be sure you know the risks of the surgery before going under the scalpel.

It can be extremely painful depending upon the surgery you are talking about and can also be quite expensive. However, people go through pain and pay out tons of money all the time for their children/themselves to have straight teeth by getting braces - generally no one thinks of that as being bad. What's the difference if someone else doesn't like his or her nose and wants to get a rhinoplasty? In my eyes, there is not much of a difference! If something on your body bothers you enough, why not change it? That's what the surgery is there for.
no its not i had cosmetic surgery not for vanity aside from that for people that want to tweak or fix parts of themselves i think its the perfect thing to opt for why live with a nose or ears you hate when they can be easily fixed? going over board and looking extremely fake is when cosmetic surgery is not only "bad" but dangerous good luck!
