How much would orthodontic jaw surgery cost ?

(First of all I have looked at other questions & Research first ) I have an overbite , worse than the ones on google . It hurts a lot because my jaw is so far set back than the top teeth . Would insurance cover it ? Or is it considered a cosmetic surgery ? Also , what range is it price wise , and age you have to be .

  1. depends on insurance, doctor, and place you have it done.
  2. If it can be proven to be medically necessary most major medical insurance will pay for it. You need to check with your company first, of course. As for price -- It depends on many factors. That said,.. it could be anywhere from as little as 5,000 to 35,000$. You need to consult with an oral surgeon.. you will get all of these answers and more. The cost will depend on region, the surgeon, the severity and as such will one or both upper and lower need adjustments, etc.
  3. cost $20,000 to $30,000. Only hand full of insurance will cover this. yes u can consider it cosmetic 18 years old for girls and 20 years old for boy is idea age. Good luck
