1. Because they can afford it.
2. Because people are insecure with themselves and they have the money to fix what they don't like. Non-famous people also get plastic surgery, cheat, divorces and do drugs.
3. Plastic Surgery: To be perfect. Cheat: They get bored; they love attention from being famous, so they use it to their advantage. Divorce: Most likely from the cheating concept. Drugs: They get all hot-headed and stupid. Because everyone "loves them" ..... Look where that got Lindsey Lohan... They usually also do this if they start acting/singing at a young age.
4. they want the perfect look, the perfect one, the perfect mood, but all they are doing is making it worse
5. I think they get plastic surgery as they are always in the public eye, weather it be in magazines or on tv, and they are always getting criticised about their looks. So they feel under constant pressure to look what is perceived as 'perfect'. They may cheat for attention or because their partner is away too much so they do not get to see them and don't get enought attention. They get divorces for the same reason as above. they may do drugs to fit in with the rest of their friends, or because they are stressed and drugs (for a short time) makes them forget about all their worries. Just my opinion :)
6. Most celebrities are egocentric, it's just all about them. The have so much money that they never see the reason to tell themselves "no" to anything. I think deep down they realize that money can't buy them happiness but they have no clue what to do about it, plus what do you expect when you believe in Scientology. So, they try a new mate, plastic surgery, drugs, etc. There is the belief that if you are young and beautiful you will stay employed in show business, therefore when celebrities start getting old and they are no longer able to get the lead in those romantic comedies anymore, they get plastic surgery to look younger. However, I still see them being cast in roles as older people tho.
7. Because they have papparazi taking pictures of them from every angle possible and they are not comftarble with their body they feel they should look better just cause they are famous and they are rich.....
8. because the pressure from hollywood wants everyone to be perfect and sometimes some celebrities are just full of themselves and think it's okay to do drugs and so on.
9. sometimes it's for publicity. sometimes they're feeling pressured. sometimes they do stuff that even average citizens would do, but since they're celebrities (and automatically set up to be "role models" for others) their actions get blown out of proportion.
