What is the liposuction part of the breast reduction?

Im getting a breast reduction on one breast in a few weeks and they told my mom that it was a breast reduction and liposuction.. Does anyone have an idea what the lipos for? Maybe the fat where your armpit meets the breast because i have it pretty bad.
