Did really Marilyn Monroe get plastic surgeries?

Yesterday I heard it on a tv documentary-show: after modeling, when she was starting her career in cinema, Marilyn had some plastic surgeries, perhaps nose job. I knew plastic surgery was still done in the past, even if in more rudimentary way than today. However the news left me no little doubts about... I ever considered Marilyn as an extraordinary natural beauty like most of people do. Is it true? What do you know about it??
