after plastic surgery (or any surgery!)?

i am thinking bout getting a skin procedure on my leg done b.c. when i was younger i had a pigmentation which was thought to be cancer, so 65% of my skin was removed and had a skin graft and is left with a scar. a couple years backk i visited the cosmetic surgeon, and was told how i could get a tissue expansion done where they balloon up that area of skin, and come back to undergo surgery where they fold it over to smooth it down but i'm scared and worried if its going to hurt after i get done with surgery, what it will look like, will it loook awful, etc etc. has any one had something similar like this done,, OR a surgery or cosmetic surgery, what did it feel like going in surgery, and RIGHT AFTER surgery like when you woke up, how long did it take to recover? etc etc thank you so much -Donica(:
