Plastic Surgery, Double Eyelid Surgery. PLEASE HELP?!?

Everytime i hear or read about plastic surgery, i think so much! I find it very minor. Although, it does change your appearance by alot. My dad was born with them, and when my mom was around 20, she got eyelid surgery. But if you do get it, it's not like your not gonna look american. Your still gonna look asian and your still gonna be the same person. Is Plastic Surgery a sin? I know God made you look different, but if you do get it, your still gonna look different. It's a personal choice, didn't he give you free will? It's your life. My mom said if i want, i should get it. My dad thinks i should stay natural. But it' not what they think or want. It's what i want. I've always been made fun of. My best friend has double eyelids and its just so pretty. I can't wear makeup and im just bare. I wanna feel prettier, for myself. Everyone is saying that your face is still growing but i really want it. Im 15 and 16 in April. In the summer, im going to my home country, south korea. I really wanna get it, but im having a hard time deciding. There's no going back, its a permanant decision. I have to choose very wisely also. If its a sin, then alot of koreans must be going to hell..yeah no. There are far worse things people are doing then plastic surgery. I know im asian, if i got it, im still gonna look asian. i want my eyes bigger tho. not to look caucasian, or european. It is so common in korea, its not even a bad thing. it takes like 1 hour total i think? I don't wanna miss out on a chance like this. I know the consequences and risks. But i wanna take those risks. After i did get it, im still gonna be the same person. same personality. ill look a little different, but i really honestly dont find it a big deal. ugh everytime i think about it, i get really sad for some reason. i really want it, while on the other hand, i feel really guilty for wanting it. everyone says i look beautiful without it, but i dont think so if you wanna know what i look like email me unisonx23@yahoo.com and ill send you a picture k thanks. what do you think i should do? no bashing

1. questions about this make me so freaking mad. i'm sorry but be happy with the eyes you have. they're normal eyes. you only need one eyelid anyway. all those people with double eyelids don't need them. since i'm an american, i can tell you what OTHERS think of Asians who get eyelid surgery. They look down on them and think they want to be white and aren't proud to be Asian. DON'T GET THE SURGERY. You're beautiful the way you are. And guys love Asian eyes. Don't fall victim to the trend that is making the Asian race look bad. No offense.
2. Well, in my opinion double eyelids are that big of a deal. Not everyone looks good in them. But like you said, it does make your eyes look larger. Plastic surgery isn't a bad thing! It's only bad if you do it excessively for no good reason. People get plastic surgery to raise self-confidence. If it'll make you feel good, people do it! And you know that you don't always need plastic surgery to get double eyelids? If you get surgery for double eyelids, it's usually not that pretty and it looks really obvious it's fake. It's not bad to get plastic surgery, but I don't think you need them for double eye-lids. Research more on this. Getting double eyelids naturally is a long process but it still works! And it'll look more natural :) Don't worry, I have small eyes too. And I'm also from South Korea haha. The way I'm trying to get double eyelids is to get false eyelash glue and putting it over my eyelid where I want it to fold. Then I take a bobby pin and VERY gently fold my eyelid back where I want my double eyelids to form. Then I hold it in place with the pin. In this way, you can also test if you look good with double eyelids or not. False eyelash glue is safe for your skin btw. Actually, there are probably better process than this. Maybe the tape technique? Personally, I don't like that way. It doesn't seem skin friendly. It takes long but it's better than plastic surgery. Honestly, I don't believe in sins. I find them kinda cruel to believe it :/ Everyone has their own choice in life and it's something that you, yourself, should decide on. And it's up to you to decide if something is right or wrong. Everyone should have their own honest thoughts and actions. If you want to get double eyelids with surgery, do it! If it'll make you feel better. But remember, surgery isn't always the last hope.
3. i personally believe that you should not have the surgery because no matter what you do to change your physical appearance you will never be able to change who you really are. what you have is a complex about something: an insecurity of some sort. beauty is subjective, and based on what the people in power (media) want you to think. To change yourself physically is to deny the very essence of your culture, from where you grab your strength to succeed in this strange world.
