What cosmetic surgery is appropriate for a receding lower jaw?

My receding lower jaw gives the appearance of a double chin and would love to know what cosmetic surgery I should be researching in order to rectify this problem with my appearance..it has a huge impact on my self esteem. when I move my lower jaw forward by myself I get that nice curve in my neck how it should be.. I would love to look into getting some kind of cosmetic surgery that would give this effect.

  1. Just exercise
  2. Sounds like you would be a great candidate for corrective jaw surgery done with an oral/maxillofacial surgeon. They basically fracture and reposition your jaw and hold it in place with plates, screws, bands and or wires and you may also require some dental procedures to make sure your teeth remain in good alignment after the surgery. The best thing to do would be to make an appointment with a oral/maxillofacial surgeon for a consultation to see what they can do for you and what the post-operative care would be. You may want to check with a few just to get a few opinions. Good luck.
