Is one week too soon to judge the results of liposuction?

A week ago I got liposuction done on my abdomen and hips. I do see some difference, but If this is close to my final results, I'm not going to be satisfied and want a heads up that its not going to get better. I'm still very tender and bruised. I would like answers from people who have had the procedure, or known someone close who's had it. Thanks!

I had a little lipo done when I had a breast reduction and it has taken almost 6 months for things to 'appear' as though they have settled. BTW I am quite pleased with the results. Be patient. What you had done to your body is pretty traumatic. What did your surgeon have to say about your healing time? What information did he/she give you before your procedure? Just be patient and follow the after care instructions.
Your doctor should have discussed with you that there was going to be some swelling and that you will not see results for a few weeks. Be patient.
