How is it an 11y/o can watch Criminal Minds w/o a blink, but can't stomach E's celebrity plastic surgeries?

FBI stories of serial killers don't bother him at all, but a browlift gone wrong keeps him up for a week.

thats so weird. lol. my boyfriend is the same way tho. we watch that series "spartacus" on starz and he can sit and watch it all day and its the most bloody, gruesome, violent series out there. but i was watching season 4 of nip/tuck last night and he came home and got grossed out by a face lift. i dont get it either. :o)
Ew. I'm the same way. I love Criminal Minds. I can be eating lunch, get called into the delivery room and help deliver a baby, come back out and finish eating. But I get faint if I have to watch a surgery.
I am kind of the same way . I know that Criminal Minds, Law and Order are fake. Yeah based in reality but those are actors fake blood and just purley entertainment. The plastic surgery is real. Real blood, cutting skin folding back etc.
He's old enough to tell the difference between reality and fictitious stories. Real pain and suffering > obviously fake scary stories.
I love all the cop/law shows and most of the surgery shows but if I see a knee surgery I about hurl. No clue why but knee surgery grosses me out.
