cosmetic surgery for lazy eye?

i was in a car accident and had a severe brain injury in result crushed almost all my optic nerves and muscles in my left eye and i am legally blind in the process.my eyelid is almost shut and my eyeball hangs to the corner to my eye because lack of muscles in the eye,any suggestions on what kind of surgery that can help cosmetically,thanks.

  1. That would be reconstructive surgery. You need to find an ophthalmologist who specializes in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. If you have health insurance, it should be covered. I don't think your problem would really be considered cosmetic surgery as would lasik or an eye lift. You can google your closest city and see if they have an eye hospital where you get a physician referral or try ophthalmic reconstructive surgeons and your city or town. Definitely get references and check out how long the surgeon has been in practice. From your post, it appears that you can still see out of your right eye and it received little or no damage, so luckily you still have some vision.
