How much fat can liposuction get rid of?

How much fat can liposuction get rid of? I read somewhere it was only 6-8 pounds. But that's not even worth 10 dollars. So, does anyone know if this is true or what it really is if not.

1. Not exactly sure, but my best guess would be that it depends on how much fat you actually have.
2. Nope. Almost nothing because fat is like that squirty cream - it weighs very little but takes up a lot of room. I had 2 litres removed from each thigh some years ago and lost about 4lbs. Seriously, no doctor will do lipo if you're hoping it'll cause you to lose weight because it just doesn't happen.
3. That is not true. Liposuction can get rid of as much fat as you need but not too much to make you bony.
4. It gets rid of fat cells that your body can't. So when u gain weight the cells expand so it could help u in the bigger picture.
