Can I get liposuction without anesthesia?

I want to get liposuction on the underside of my arms. Could I request to have it done without anesthesia?

1. Most liposuction is done with tumescent solution, which contains lidocaine to make you numb and epinephrine to make you bleed less. You don't need any additional anesthesia if you don't want it, but when they inject the tumescent solution, it's pretty painful.
