Has anyone read about Keira Knightley refusing breast enhancement for the movie The Duchess?

For some reason, it's always been just fine to lack respect for a girl because her boobs aren't big enough, something she has NO control over. And often, other girls do this to each other, which I think is awful. The fact that she's in this industry and has held out against the constant pressure for plastic surgery is so inspiring. I say BRAVO KEIRA for standing up for her own body.

13. i say well done to her too shes sending out a good message to people that we should be proud of our bodies the way they are. it also shows that its not because she hasn't had an opportunity to have them enlarged but that she just simply likes them the way they are. i think that it shows that she is confident in herself and she won't change her body for anyone
14. Yes, and same here. Keira is showing that even if a girl has small boobs she is still a woman. It's ok for a girl to have a small chest and they should be proud of who they are! Keira is an inspiration to many women and I have so much respect for her.
15. Lol, we did post similar questions... Anyway, I think what she did is great! I've always been small-chested, and I don't think everyone realizes that it can be hard when you aren't thought of as "as hot" as a woman with a larger chest. Men may worry about the size of certain body parts they have, but it's not on display for the whole world to see. Also, I recently had a baby (5 months ago), and have not been able to loose the weight, but I didn't get the awesomely huge boobs that supposedly come with pregnancy and breast feeding. Keira may be a bit skinnier than me, but by refusing to have her image altered.... I guess it just kinda shows me (and hopefully others) that you can be sexy in the body you have, and not have to change to be what people think is "ideal"
