Financing plastic surgery?

I have recently loss a lot of weight and one of the consequences of that is that not only did my breasts get smaller, but they are sagging now (I'm only 20 yr. old). So I really want to get a breast lift/ augmentation(depending on the advice of the plastic surgeon). I'm in in college and not working at the moment, but I do live with my parents. My mother knows that I want to get the surgery, but we can't affordit at the moment. I plan on getting it in about 2 years. I plan on getting a job and saving. I was also thinking that since I am taking out a student loan for next year, I can take out a little extra and whatever is left over can help pay forsurgery. Is this a good idea? What are some other things I can do to finance my surgery? Well I have been saving. I have about $1,300 saved up already.

  1. The job and saving, while living with your parents so your expenses are low, is probably your best bet. The plastic surgeon might let you set up payments for some of the cost - ask. Congrats on the weight loss...
  2. Certain things you should not finance. If you can not save for it to pay in full, you can not afford it.
  3. The surgeon really wants your money. Most offices have financing available through banks. This is one site, but you can google more. http://www.capitalonehealthcarefinance.com/cosmetic/ Though, of course, you would need to qualify...not sure how much credit you have at your age. Most will take credit cards, too. Either way you'd have to be able to handle the payments or you'll ruin your credit..and thus your life. You can also just wait till you're done with school, you have a job and the money is not so much of an issue...priorities and all that...Think about it. Maybe the answer is a really fabulous bra. Congratulations on your weight loss. I know it's effing crazy hard.
