Any one else agree that there is no such a thing as a "bad picture" of themselves or being photogenic?

When people look at a picture of themselves and say that it's a bad picture of themselves, it really makes no sense because that is simply how they look. What they are really saying is that they don't like how they look. Then they try to strike a pose then say that it's a good picture of them but they don't realise is that the "bad picture" is what they look like all the time except for the two seconds they fixed themselves up for the "good picture". If the camera catches a bad face, it's still you. If you made a bad face in front of a camera, you make it without the camera. So when you keep saying that your pictures are "bad pictures," you're just saying you don't like how you look. So either get plastic surgery on your face, or never spend a second of the rest of your life without make up, or just ACCEPT and LOVE the way you look.

1. actually there is a such thing as a bad picture.some people look high in pictures and have their eyes closed.that is called a BAD picture.ya thats YOU in the picture but it can still look bad.and just cause you think you look bad in a picture doesnt mean you need plastic surgerey or dont accept yourself.some people just dont take good pictures.
2. I don't think it's necessarily a matter of self-esteem. I think it's a question of semantics here, our meaning when we say "bad picture." I'm satisfied with my physical appearance, but if I'm blinking in a picture, I'd call that a "bad picture." Have you ever paused a movie while a character is talking, just at the moment they make an unintentionally ugly face? You can do this to anyone onscreen, whether they are a supermodel, or a bum.

4. Just one picture cannot capture your beauty. What I mean is a picture shows just a quick second from your life. You are so critical of yourself that anything less than your best just doesn't satisfy you. Thats why one feels their pic is not good and others' are.

6. yes there are bad pictures. Pictures that make you look like what you dont see in a mirror.
7. Actually, I disagree. What about lighting, angles, profiles, and backgrounds? They all play a part in pictures. Sure, a bad photo of you may be you, but it's still a bad photo of you. Same with good photos. And as for being photogenic, I think that's possible, too, because some people happen to have the great bone structure and proportional facial features that make them photogenic.
8. I'm sorry but you are absolutely wrong. I am a very NOT photogenic person. The way I look in a bunch of pictures has nothing to do with the way I look in real life, and thank god!!
